I purchased discounted an AMY COE bumper set from bluefly.com. Really great prices. It came with duvet, but didn't come with the insert. To purchase it now cost $79.00 from estyle.com. I only paid $97 for the whole set. I will loose my great bargain if I have to buy the full price insert.

I have been contacting bedding companies to see if they will sell me just the insert, but no luck.

Does anyone know of a company that will sell me one 35" x 42" for under $40-50?

I rather not use a comforter - it may make it too bulky.

The Company Store has crib sized duvet inserts, both down and primaloft. I don't remember the price (I just threw out the catalog), but you can check their website at www.thecompanystore.com.

Enjoy!

I'd recommend looking at the discount stores for a light weight baby comforter or some stores carry what's called a summer quilt, a very light weight blanket but heavier than a sheet.
