Do I need more than one waterproof mattress pad?

Hi, I'm wondering if I will need more than one waterproof mattress pad for the crib. Will two be a waste of money, or will I regret it if I only have one?

I would suggest having two. Sometimes when accidents occur, you have to strip the bed and you need an extra while one in the laundry. I learned this the hard way!!
