Sleigh crib/Bumper Pads

Help! We are looking at a sleigh crib that has flat panels on both ends. Do bumper pads work with these cribs as there are no slats at the end to tie the ties to? Do you just cut off the extra ties on the end and if so, is this dangerous?

I would definitely cut off the extra ties in order to be safe. The loose ties could pose a choking or strangulation hazard.

You might want to consider skipping the bumper pad altogether. My 6 mos. old just kicks it down flat now - and it doesn't even look cute anymore ( not to mention that he peed on it the day we brought him home!). The paneled cribs are gorgeous - no need to fancy it up!
