Hi all :). I'd like to get a plain white eyelet bassinet skirt/hood cover to cover my baby's bassinet. The ones that come on the bassinets are so ugly! Does anyone know where to find these? I've looked at Baby Depot, BRU, and online a bit...anyone?? Please?

Thanks!

Do you sew? We have an old bassinet - actually the one I slept in as a baby 26 years ago, and couldn't find a cover to fit. My mother made one out of a few yards of eyelet. It took her less than a few hours and it looks incredible. The skirt was simply cut to the proper length and then gathered at the top with elastic. She used an inexpensive bumper and covered that for the insides. Then made the hood just by wrapping the fabric around the top and attaching ribbon bows on the side to cover the screws where the top attaches top the base. If I knew how to set up the digital camera I would include a picture. I could also probably get you more detailed instructions if you are interested. Let me know.
