Just wondering if you've washed it yet... I'm wondering how the material holds up. At $59, I'd want something that lasts, but this could be a nice splurge!

I saw something very similar at Zany Brainy the other day. It was a small travel silky blanket, and it was $19.95 I think. It felt soooo good!

I have a similar blanket, made of a new material called Kashwere. It's basically like washable chenille. The site is http://www.annibanani.com/. It is so very soft and is our dd's "binkie". She has the bunny. I think they are so cute and she has gotten tons of comliments on it. And I have machine washed it a few times already and it is great.

Has anyone every seen fabric like that in a fabric store? I've seen regular chenille, but I've felt a blanket made out of that super soft stuff and I love it!

This is more of a full sized baby blanket.

I agree! We have the same blanket in the blankie size and absolutely love it. DS lloves to snuggle with it and, in fact, has it in his hands right now. We also have a Kashwere blankie from Barefoot Dreams, which we like, but it is truly not even close to as soft as the Little Giraffe one. It is now a staple in my shower gift rotation ;)
