Hi all,

I bought a few tie-back panels for our nursery but I am hesitant to put them up right now since I am afraid my daughter might pull the panels down when she starts moving around. We were planning to use curtain rods that will rest on hooks (you know the usual curtain panel stuff). Do you think this will be unsafe for a baby's room?

Thanks,

Nicole.

I sewed a top valance for the windows in DS's room. Then when it got colder (and our windows aren't exactly energy efficient) I put panels up, too, under the valance. They're fine now but I will probably remove them in late spring since the rod holding them up is not so sturdy and DS likes to grab stuff really hard- and by then he might be mobile. You maybe could put something in front of your windows- we have a nightstand and his cradle filled with toys and those block access to the windows....for now anyway :)
