Mobile for Changing Table -- good until what age?

I've read that mobiles are basically for young infants. We're adopting a 6-12 month old. But I've seen this mobile that seems like it would be good for over the changing table. Until what age would you use something like this?

Colin would have been yanking it off of the wall by 8-9 months of age!

I agree with Lori. However, we have a butterfly mobile that is really for older kids that hangs over her changing table. It hangs from the ceiling and she can't reach it. I've been changing her on the floor forever but dh still uses the changing table.
