Does a 1/2 inch make a difference? Colgate Classica I vs. Visco

For anyone that has the Visco-Classica, do you know if the 1/2 inch difference in width makes a difference? Is it a safety concern?

The dimensions of the Classica I mattress are 52" X 28" X 5".

The size of the Visco-Classica Mattress is 52" X 27.5" X 6"

I just bought the Colgate Classica I and the salesperson rec. I buy this one even though they carried the Visco and the Classica III along with other store brands which I think were more $$. She said it was rated the best mattress, so I went with her advice. Otherwise, I don't have much info on it.
