Putting baby #2 in 3 yr. old's room??

We're expecting baby #2 (another girl!) in a few months and we're trying to figure out where she's going to go! We have a small place - 2 bedrooms - and we can't decide whether the new baby should stay in our bedroom for awhile or if we should put the crib in our 3 yr. old's room.

Does anyone have any suggestions or been through this themselves? Our 3 yr. old keeps saying she wants the crib in her room, but obviously we not totally going by what she says!

I can't speak from my own experience but a close friend of mine had a similar situation. She ended up moving the baby into the bedroom because when the baby woke up at night, it woke the 3 year old and she then had to deal with calming both of them down.
