Here is a picture of one of our walls. Half of the room is blue and the other half is green. The paint was from Home Depot.

Here are a couple pics of Charlie's room. The color is Behr Utah Sky from Home Depot. We love it!

Here's a link to the thread where I posted pics of my blue nursery. I love the shade of blue we went with, it is very pale, soothing, yet warm. I will find out the brand and name if you would like it. Just let me know.

i'd love to know it... i want to paint the bathroom a nice pale blue, and have trouble picking from swatches (which is why the baby's room is robin egg blue instead of a more subdued blue... but DH had something to do with that..)

here's ours...it is a Disney color from Home Depot, I can get the exact name if you email or PM me. I did a faux treatment so it is not 100% saturated.

Your room decor is beautiful...I love your bumper set. We are not sure yet what we are having but would like to know the name or store where you purchased it - just in case it is a boy...is it potterybarn? Thanks

No photos yet, DS's room is a disaster with laundry and baby gifts everywhere.

I picked the lightest shade of blue I could find on the swatches at HD. I think it was Behr also. Even though it was super pale, the blue shows up well in the room and isn't washed out at all.

A little blue goes a long way.

I don't go into this thread too often (now have a toddler), but for something a bit different I figured I'd show the shade of blue for my daughter's former nursery (we have since moved to another state). I don't have any pics of the whole room put together, but you can see the shade here. It is from Lowe's, Olympic Paints, Royal Plume. We didn't have a theme for the room and it wasn't super fancy - we just wanted it to be pleasant.

Our logic for choosing a deep blue is that it would provide a nice contrast for white case pieces and go well with pretty much all pastels, so we would have lots of flexibility for other pieces in the room. Denims look good with it (as long as they aren't really dark indigo), too.

Blue isn't just for boys!
