HELP--had to remove bumper--NOW what???

DS has started to eat his bumper, so it has been removed. Also removing the dust ruffle because he can now get to that as well. Plus, we are lowering the mattress because he can swing his legs and feet over the side rail. DS is 5 months and just started doing this. Anway, he likes to stick his arms and legs between the crib slats to sleep. Is there anything we can put against the slats that he can't pull down and stick in his mouth? Plus, what do we do about DS hitting his head on the sides of the crib when he rolls around?

I know I've seen mesh crib bumpers somewhere. Maybe One Step Ahead?
