DS has been in his crib for about a month now and the only crib bedding he has is a sheet and mattress pad. He slept in a hammock in our room up until last month and I never got around to getting a bedding set. His crib just seems so stark so I want to get him something fun that he can look at when he wakes up.
Based on another posting I checked out kbmill2 on ebay and saw this set.
Does it look too girly for a boy or is it ok? His room is a bright blue and the other accents in his room are that lime green that's in the border of the set. I guess I'm just wondering about the pink and flowers. We're not hugely into gender specific things, but I don't want the set to look weird in his mainly blue and lime green room either.
TIA!

It does make me think girl. I think the scallopy edge and the pink flowers say girl.

I agree that it looks girly. The quilt doesn't as much, but the bumper does to me. I am also not into gender-specific stuff (my DD's room is blue and green), but I think you can find a more gender-neutral set than this. Your colors sound cute, btw!

I agree with the PPs, it's girly. The quilt itself isn't too bad, but the flowers on the bumper a definitely girly.

Thanks everyone. I agree now, looking at it again, it is pretty girly.
I'm having the hardest time finding a cute, bright, modernish set that isn't a small fortune. I love the sets by Sozo and the new Nurseryworks line and of course the Dwell baby bedding, but they're all over $300! I'd love to find something for under $200 but its tough. Oh well, back to the drawing board!

Here's a few links to some of the brighter color sets I've seen. They all seem to be reasonably priced.

We've been very happy with their sheets that we bought to supplement our bananafish bedding. Looking back, I wouldn't have bought the entire set since we didn't use the bumper. I would get a nice dust ruffle, sheets and maybe valance (depending on your window treatments). The babybedding.com sheets are fitted all the way around and very good quality.
