using a bumper and ocean wonders aquarium

We just bought a bumper for DS's crib. He seems to enjoy snugglig up to it, and he hasn't stuck his arms out, but he's missing his Ocean WOnders Aquarium! Has anyone been able to attach this and a bumper?

We just push down the bumper in that one area. Then when we lowered the mattress the OW fit with no problem. Now at 9 months he likes to turn it on in the middle of the night and at 6am to let us know he is waiting for us.

We lowered the crib mattress to make it fit...

We're fairly tall so reaching down a bit more is no big deal, but might not work if you are a bit shorter.
