I would love to find more sites that do custom bedding -- I have a very specific idea in mind for my bedding and can't find what I'm looking for! Does anyone know of any other sites that do custom bedding where you choose your fabrics?

Thanks!

For our first DD my mom & I made the crib bedding and window coverings. However with a toddler running around we just didn't have the time to do the same for our second DD. I spent hours searching online for bedding similar in quality. We ended up with House Inc. I had a ruffle added to the bumper and I added larger ties. For the skirt I ended up adding a sheer overlay to add some fullness. Anyways, we are happy with the bedding it looks adorable in DD's nursery! The following links are some of the other sites I ran across while searching:

http://www.warmbiscuit.com/index.html

http://www.peapodcreations.com/

http://www.javisdavis.com/index.html

http://www.laylagrayce.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=131

http://www.serenaandlily.com/index.php

http://www.classicchic.com/house_inc.htm

The last link is the site I ordered our House Inc bedding from. The owner of the store was very helpful and friendly.

Nicole -- thanks so much for the links! I love the House, Inc. bedding. It's just so soft and gorgeous. Your daughter's room must be beautiful. I wish I could sew ... on my list of things to learn how to do some day!

Thanks again!

I had my DDs bedding made by a woman that used to work for Pine Creek bedding. A few years ago, I had custom crib bedding and cradle bedding made and, just recently, custom twin bedding made. I originally met her on ebay and she's is wonderful (and so fast) to work with. I ordered my entire set over email. Her ebay ID is nadia3*r. Her prices are great and the sets she made for me are nice quality. Also, I was able to specify the exact fabrics and style! PM me if you want more info on her!

I did a great custom bedding set for my son from Bebe Chic, www.bebechic.com. I ordered it from a store in Chicago. They have a huge selection of fabrics and accomodated my own design ideas.

Good luck!

Yeah, more options! I'm definitely intrigued with the ebay seller ... I'll have to do a search for her items.

Thanks!

I'm in the same situation. I just ran across www.babycakesla.com. Has anyone else used this company?

They have some great fabrics. I like that I can order just the pieces I want rather than a full set, and that I can order coordinating curtains.

I e-mailed them to order some swatches. I'll post again when I know more.

Good luck!

Here is another that is beautiful and surprisingly wasn't far off from the price of House, Inc. We considered House, Inc but then (unfortunately) I fell in love with this.

Thanks for all of the options! I have been looking everywhere online for something unique and not too expensive. I emailed the eBay user natitys and she is now in the process of making the most beautiful crib set. She went out of her way to search for coordinating fabrics for me. She even sent me swatches of the fabric so I can get a head start on painting before Baby #2 arrves in a couple of months. I'll post again when I receive everything.

I never heard back from Babycakes. x(

I did find some fabric locally that I liked. I'm going to call a seamstress friend of my mom's to see if she would be willing to make what I want.

Farleygirl, congrats on finding someone to make the bedding for you!
