Is your crib skirt too long. . .

when the mattress is in the lowest position? Our crib only has 2 heights (since I bought it before researching cribs here) and the lowest one makes the crib skirt drag on the floor. I forgot to measure the drop last night, but the skirt is one that I made from a pattern. I guess i am just wondering if this is a common thing or if my skirt is a weird length, or if the mattress height is odd.

I never actually finished the crib bedding (or the nursery for that matter) since DS arrived a month early. Now I am debating what to do about finishing it. Since the mattress is going to be at that height indefinitely I need to do something about the crib skirt!

Yes. We just bunched it up under the mattress till it looked right. Once we lowered to the very lowest setting, we just removed it altogether.

Ditto. Actually mine wasn't too long really, it just got in the way of the under crib drawer when it was in the lower position, so we removed it.

I also made my crib skirt, and on the lowest mattress setting it is dragging on the ground and getting in the way of the drawer. I probably should just take it off, but it looks so cute. :(

Yep, ours is too long too. I just pulled it back until it was even with the floor and folded the excess under the mattress.

This is what I did too--it works just fine like this. I just lift the front of the skirt up when I need to access the drawer.

Yes. Why do they make them like this?? I thought it was just us. And like others, we removed it completely when we moved the mattress to the lowest setting. Such a shame that it looked pretty for such a short time.
