Daybed Question

This is also posted in the Toddler section - but you guys have more traffic here :) Here's my question:

DD room is teeny tiny and her big girl bed needs to be up against the wall to maximize her play space (no playroom). I thought a daybed would be the best option for her, but does anyone know about the bedding? Does a regular bedding set fit on a daybed(comforter, bed skirt, etc.)

We just got a daybed for our guest room, and I wouldn't do it again. You have to buy special bedding (or use regular bedding, which is a pain to tuck the comforter around the long side. It's a pain to put on and change sheets, too, which is bad with a youngster who is probably not yet potty-trained at night.
