Land of Nod Transportation Quilt

Anyone has the Transportation bedding from Land of Nod? I'm wondering how it's holding up. I ordered it and just received it in the mail. I though it looked odd that there were random single-thread stiches going throughout the quilt. At first, I thought it was a mistake, but the sham was the same way. Is that how it's suppose to be? I love the this quilt, but would not want to keep it if the quality was poor and would not last.

We have this quilt - love it (I'll have to go look at it to see what you are talking about).

The fabric from the car (the meshy fabric) did pull up about a year after I got it and I called LoN and told them - they replaced it, so I'd give them an A for customer service!
