I feel dumb but what is the difference between Sleepers and Blanket Sleepers? All I ever see at the major baby store I shop in are just called Sleepers. Are the Blanket Sleepers seasonal items? Thanks!

Hi!

Thanks for using our message boards!

Don't feel dumb. Like they used to tell us in school, the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.

Blanket sleepers are a seasonal item. They are made of a much thicker fabric. In fact, the best are made of non-pilling polar fleece. You'd only want to use them in the winter in a cold climate. The advantage of blanket sleepers is you don't have to use a blanket or coverlet on your baby. As you know, to help avoid the risk of SIDS, the government recommends not using heavy blankets or coverlets.

Hope that helps,
