We bought our dd her first pair of walkers. They're the traditional Stride Rite white baby shoes. Although she's toddling, her preferred mode of transport is still often crawling. As a result, the toes of her shoes are very scuffed. At the shoe store they recommended baby wipes for cleaning. They work very well. But now they're scuffed and the wipes don't help that. I've tried the traditional "Sani-White" which worked until my dd crawled for 5 min. Now the toes are worse than ever.
Does anybody have any bright ideas? The Stride Rite guy said that they used to sell a wonderful white shoe polish that's clay-based. As a result, it's non-toxic, etc. However, they don't have it anymore and nobody around Baltimore seems to have it.
Thanks for any info. you can provide.
