This looks like a great set to start with. Does anyone have it and could comment on it?

CUTE! I'm not sure it's necessary, but it's cute. Chances are you'll get several towel sets as gifts, and booties. I also got a bunch of gowns. Also, the best baby brush I've found by far is this one:

My other hesitation is whether you'll want SO many things in one color. It's adorable, though.

I've been wanting a good brush. I think I'll have to take a trip to Crabtree and Evelyn after the baby is born :)

LOL!!! That brush would NEVER have worked on Sarah's hair! She was born with a ton and never lost a hair. I've been using an "adult" brush on her since she was about 4 months old. :) But for typical newborn hair, that would be great.

I guess I would wait to see what kinds of gifts you get (unless you really love the idea of the set of all yellow). Sure the buying urge might be striking you and you could probably spend at least $60 (or more) on less items but might be more likely to get things that you love. (of course if you love the look of this set then that's a different story)

It is adorable. But what if you have a big baby? In my experience, Carter's tends to run small. My son is well into 9 month sizes and therefore, can't wear 6-9 month sizes even though he's not quite 7 months. So, if your baby is big, he/she might not be wearing those outfits for very long. Just me 2 cents. :)

I would tend to agree with the comment about it being all one color. Personally, I would have found that boring - it was fun to use all of the cute clothes that we received; it would have been much less fun if they were all the same solid color!

Very cute, but . . I've personally never used bibs that tie or over-the-head tee shirts. Velco or snap bibs are much more convienent.
