2 piece going home outfit

My neighbor just gave me an adorable 2 piece newborn outfit from Nordstrom. Is it ok to put a newborn in a 2 piece outfit b/c of the umbilical cord? TIA

Well, you shouldn't have anything where the waistband will press on the cord. I'd save the outfit for a week or two until the cord falls off and stick with loose one-piece stuff before that.
