Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

So I was in the children's department at Nordstrom today and they had the Infant/Toddler "Look Book" out on the counter. Apparently, you can pre-order items for their upcoming anniversary sale (starts Friday). Does anyone do this? What's the benefit, other than ensuring you get what you want? Lots of the stuff in the Look Book are fall/winter items, so how do you anticipate sizes for infants? Just wondering if this is a good idea for me...

I'm not usually a big anniversary sale shopper, but I love Barefoot Dreams stuff.. http://store.nordstrom.com/product/product.asp?styleid=2816234&category=2379292~2379293~2379299~2382543&PrevStyleID=2822783&NextStyleID=2816224 It is on sale, which is very rare so I've stocked up. I think that if you can find "seasonless" stuff, you would be in good shape.
