Okay, so I thought I was set getting DS the baby rhino costume for Halloween. But then I stumbled on this monkey outfit, which is MORE than appropriate! So, which one??

Awww...they're both so cute :) I love the rhino! When I saw the monkey costume on the One Step Ahead catalogue, I thought it's a little cute mouse though (must be the tail) ;) I'd pick the rhino if my baby has a chubby face, and pick the monkey if he/she has a slender body and is very active :D

Gosh they are both so cute!! I think I love the tail on the monkey though more than the rhino horn. Oh, I don't know...I think the monkey would be cuter on him with those cute ears it has.

The baby rhino is more unique, but you might spend all evening answering the "What exactly is he?" question. The monkey is adorable, especially accompanied by a fake banana. So I guess I vote monkey. Also, it could be used for #2 even if it is a girl. I don't know why but the rhino strikes me as more male...maybe the horn?

I vote for monkey. I wanted to buy the monkey for ds but couldn't find it in a small enough size.

I don't think you can go wrong, really. These are so cute I'm swooning at the keyboard. I'm loving the monkey, though, because I think "Chunky Monkey" when I think about Gannon.

He'd look adorable in either (of course), but I can just picture him in the sweet little surprised, open mouthed Ganno face while wearing a monkey costume. I'd love to see a pic of him in whichever you choose- he's so precious! Good luck deciding :)

Last week I saw this monkey (Tome Arma, right?) on E-Bay. Have no earthly idea whether there are still any or in what size.

They tell you that you can buy the monkey online at One Step Ahead and Leaps and Bounds, but the Monkey is listed as sold out.

http://www.brandsonsale.com has some Tom Arma costumes.

http://www.sensationalbeginnings.com/ has some too.

http://www.buycostumes.com is another place.

Spencers Gifts, and Party City are the non-online retailers for Tom Arma. It looks like there are several manufacturers and they are sold at different places, depending on which costume you want.

The Rhino is not even shown on the website at all, it must be from a previous year? I got the butterfly on eBay.
