Washing clothing before baby arrives

I've read many posts with people saying to return stuff if the baby arrives and is too big for th 0-3 month size, or whatever. But what about washing clothing before baby gets here? I've been doing that, so obviously won't be able to return things. Are there people out there who don't wash before baby wears?? Thanks!

What I did wash just wash a few things - a few onesies and gowns and one "cute" outfit. Everything else I left tags on. It's so quick to pop something in the washer if needed, so I decided to wait on most stuff. Luckily I did too - at 7 weeks old Isabella is already growing out of 0-3 month stuff!
On the other hand, DS wore 0-3 month clothes well into his 4th month, so you just never know.
