View Full Version : OT: winter jacket for ME!

I have a pea coat that I've had for years, but it's too scratchy to be carrying Lauren up against me. as it is, it's scratchy on my skin.

I was thinking about one of these jackets from hanna. which do you prefer?

I'm going to get the fleecy sherling coat this winter :) It looks so soft and comfortable, The hood is very practical for the MI snow. The quilted jacket is more dressy, but will also work with jeans. Let us know which one you choose :)

I ordered the first one and returned it. It was not what I expected. I didn't think it would be very warm in very cold weather. It also fit a little tighter than I had wanted. If I got a bigger size, it would be too big. Just wanted to let you know. I didn't see that 2nd one. I may try that one. That's actually more of what I was looking for. Thanks!

I don't really need super warm. i don't think it gets that cold here. plus if it's too cold for me, i doubt i'll want to take lauren out in it.

i like the long in because it looks cozy and is really casual. the shorter one is definitely cute and dressier.

how was it too tight? what size did you get?

I had gotten the long cardian in size medium and it was HUGE. Well in hindsight, I should have ordered the small. Now the small is sold out in the tan, so i'm thinking of ordering the blue. i'm hoping if i do, there will be enough of a size difference so it won't still be so big.

i love the second one. i also like the first one. i keep wondering "which is more practical"... i like the length on the first one and that it looks cozy.

I ordered the small. I always wear a small in Hanna clothes and they are usually fine. (I'm a size 6) It was just too tight all around. I know with a sweater on it would be way too tight. I think I may order that second one now that you pointed it out. I really need a winter coat since mine got ruined at the dry cleaner last year.
