oh man, those are gorgeous. Dragonflies, tulips, cupcakes!, cherries, I want them all.

If I had a boy, I'd get the octopus and the geckos. I might get the geckos anyway. :)

oh my goodness, those are CUTE. i like flower patch melon and dragonfly cream.

i wonder if any of the other shoe companies will come out with spring stuff?

i have no idea what my dd wears in robeez size. right now she's in 6-12 jack and lilly. anyone know how they compare? the paper foot chart just doesn't do it for me.

If I had a girl I would be RUNNING, not walking, in search of the nearest pair of cupcakes I could find!

Robeez are the only soft-soled I've used, and I guess I'd have to say I think they run a little long. But I can't compare them directly to Jack & Lily.

Oh, how cute are those? I love the dragonflys, the flower patch melon, and the octopus. I'll have to see if any stores around here picked up the spring line--I refuse to order from Robeez directly anymore.

Wow. Those are adorable!! Thanks for the link. I want the cupcakes, tulips, dragonfly, and outfits to match all of them. Yikes. I should stop reading the Layette board....

I didn't either. Those are so ADORABLE it hurts! I want the dragonflys, the cupcakes, and the sailboats. And the tulips too--what FUN colors! Is there a Robeez co-op somewhere?

Tammy,
We don't own any J&L shoes but have tried them on in the store and compared them to DD's Robeez. To me, the 18-24 mos size of Robeez and J&L shoes are the exact same length--both in trying them on and in measuring them sole to sole. Not sure about the other sizes though.

The width seems bascially the same from what I can tell from DD running wildly around the store in them for 5 minutes a couple of times.

The J&L spring line will be out the first week of March. Apparently the paper catalog will be out first, so the owner's mailing me one. I'm going to try to scan it in for the co-op.

Tammy,

For the 12-18 month, the length is exactly the same, but Robeez run quite a bit wider than Jack&Lily. And IMO, Robeez isn't as soft as Jack&Lily either.

(DS has the plain brown J&L and the blue puppy Robeez)

that's true about them not being as soft. i just wonder if they're going to come out with new ones for spring/summer. i'm so sick of their current stock :)

won't you order direct?

JenCA
02-24-2004, 04:17 PM
Because I think it really stinks that they charge you $5 to send anything back. I used their crappy sizing chart and ordered a pair in 6-12 months for DD, and they were HUGE. So I sent them back to exchange for 0-6 months, and they charged me $5 to do so. I've never, ever experienced that with any other online retailer. So, I won't order directly from their website anymore. Thankfully, I have found a few stores where I live that carry Robeez. The selection isn't as good as the online store, but for me, it's just a matter of principle. ;)

Those cherries are so cute!!! I don't think Ryan would appreciate being in girly shoes though so I'll just have to think about the new J&L designs coming out soon and hopefully we will LOVE one of those as much. :)

Finally got to see the spring Robeez in person, and they are SO cute! My mom was shopping with me today and bought DD the cherries. IMO--they are much cuter in person than the cupcakes, which is what I thought I wanted. The dragonflies, octopus, and pineapples are really adorable, too. :)

Hmmmmmm,

you know Gymboree's new spring girl's layette is "Pina Colada" and supposedly features Pineapples...maybe I should buy some.
