but what color top? I was leaning towards the green top, but is that too much? I also ahve a pair of Ultimate Blue Wiggles that I want it to go with. I was thinking the white for that, but it seems Ds is actually starting to get his clothes dirty when he wears them (LOL) so white makes me nervous. Red?

(edited to add - I would normally pick pants in the Red or Water blue but we already have Cargo in Red & Map - Do you think the Water Blue would be too close to the Map?

I got the ultimate blue hippity hop pants with the green bean bright striped tshirt :) definitely boyish enough!

the long john set - is it the amazong adventure or whatever it's called? Definitely boyish enough!

I bought those pants and the matching green top. After I ordered it I thought it might be too much green but when I showed them to dh last night he liked it. If my dh likes something its boyish enough.

The long johns are great! Definitely boyish!

As for the pants, I think they would be terrific. Pair them with either the green (if you're going monochromatic) or the blue on the right (french blue?) or possibly the red. I think that the map blue and water blue are different but similar enough that you might wish you'd gotten something different.
