I found a few pairs of pants that I would like to order for me but when I did my measurements, I found I should order a 12 or 14 according to the charts. All of my pants in other brands are 10's. Do Hannas run big or do I really need (gasp!) a 12 or 14??? I have a Hanna coat for me in a medium and it is plenty big. TIA!!!

I found that it depends on the pants. I have returned and exchanged lots of their pants for me and there is no rhyme or reason. I am mostly a six 12. I have the black flare pants in a size L, the black and white chevron in a L (which are a little big but the M would be tight in the rear, pajamas in L (which are too baggy) and I have returned the velour pants in M and L. Neither size was right. Coats and sweaters and tees for me vary from M to L. I never wear a size L top in any other good brand like Talbots, Liz or others.

I sometimes think they run slightly big. You should probably order your regular size and go from there.

Thank you both so much! I did decide to order 10's and mediums since all of the pants I was interested in seemed to have a generous cut - if they are too small, I can always return them. For anyone interested, I found an old catalog from last summer and was able to use codes to get the following pants at a discount:
XH22599 - Livable Linen Capris in Flax $34
XH26376 - Livable Linen Capris in Stripe $34
XH26568 - Wide Leg Pants for Women $34
XH26562 - Lace Print Cropped Pants$34
I also got from the current catalog Power of a Great Tee in Pear and Black - 2 for $44
With the 20% off code and shipping, my order came to $156 - not too bad for all that I got!

Hi Lauren,

I just received a pair of French Terry pants from Hanna. I called their Customer Service and was told that these pants were running small. If I were you, I would call and ask them about the specific pants you are interested in. Good luck!

I just got the these pants and thought they seemed a little small for the size. I just figured it was due to my new mommy body! :)

Does anyone know how Hanna pants run for petite gals? I'm a shorty (5'2") and pretty consistently wear size 2 pants/skirts. I've been eyeing those beach pants but I have the feeling they're designed for taller women...

I called and the inseam on the girls' 160 beach pants is longer than MY inseam! I'm 5'2" as well. I ordered the Danish terry pants in women's small and they are the perfect length (they are supposed to be capri length but fit me full length, which I actually prefer!)

That's crazy! I can't believe the girl's inseam is longer than yours (and mine, too, since you're the same heighth as me)! The funny thing is that when I buy anything capri length pants in non-petite sizes, they're always the perfect length for me! :)

What is the inseam length for size 160?

I am average height (5' 5") and I find the capris hit a little long on me. It's not a big deal, but if I was 3" shorter then the capris would probably be full length. I guess Swedes are a tall people!

I *think* they said it was 28" but I remember thinking that it seemed too long for the height they recommend for 160s.
