View Full Version : What age is too old for those little dresses with the panty?

i'm thinking of the hanna stuff - the "baby" dresses. will she be too "old" next summer for those? should i consider more of the dresses with capris or are the panty ones still okay next year?

I'm thinking that the baby dresses with panties or diaper covers are absolutely OK for a two-year old. My DD is a couple of weeks older than Lauren, and I ordered a playdress with the opposite stripes diaper cover for her for next summer. My thinking is that I want her to look like a baby for as long as possible! I don't think the cute diaper covers are any different than a toddler wearing Gymboree bloomers or any other diaper cover. I say go for it!

In my opinion as long as the baby is still in Diapers theya re fine. They are really diaper covers to conceal the diaper, so I think they are fine for a 2 year old and possibly even longer.

Heck no :) Tess wore little bloomers 'til about 3 - then she just couldn't fit into any!!

BabyGap dresses have the matching panties with them up to the 5T size, so Kathleen still wears them over her undies. :)

DD still wears them as a panty cover! She goes to preschool and they like shorts or bloomers or panty covers when she is wearing a dress on! HTH!

I agree with everyone else...I don't think they are too old for quite a while. I will probably keep *something* on under AG's dresses over her diaper or panties until she is old enough to know to keep her dress down! LOL!
