it's pretty thick and no, it doesn't shrink that i noticed. i love ours. we got two for $8 and $10 at the big winter sale. love them.

We have two in rotation now, and love them. They did not shrink, and while they are a little bulky, they aren't terribly thick. They work well as a spring jacket or as a second layer in the winter.
