Go check out the nw line at J & J--- "A Hint of Spice".

It says in the descriptions things like:
"inspired by vegetable dyes in exotic lands..."
"Crafted from a ribbed cotton tonal floral print and adorned with ruffle hem..."

It's even the same print in different colours like Naartjie: they have a Dew like colour and Tutu like colour. Here are some expmples:

They even have a "Pinnie" (Pinafore) dress.

I like J & J but for some reason it irritates me they would "Copy" someone else so brazenly.

They don't really remind me of Naartjie that much. I think of the Naartjie summer stuff as light and wispy and these look like standard J&J or Gymbo layette stuff to me. The only think reminiscent of Naartjie is the line about "vegetable dyes...blah, blah, blah". JMO. :)

As far as the new J&J stuff goes, it's pretty cute but all the wrong season as far as I'm concerned. I'm not buying anything else that summery unless it's TDF and this isn't. The teensy peek at the new Naartjie stuff is much more what I'm looking for!

It reminds me of the older spring stuff like Daisy Dumpling they had a tiered dress that looks a lot like the "dew" coloured one...and a top which also looked a lot like the dew one.

ITA agree about the wrong season. What is that all about why more summer stuff?

Are you a so dying to see the baby girl new fall naartjie? It's still not up and it;s been 2 days!

I agree completely! I was very excited for the new J&J line, but it's way too summery to buy anything. There are a couple of pieces I like, but I won't get them unless I can pick them on clearance in next year's sizes.

I am so ready to see some fall clothes!!!!!!!!

I have to say that I love the new J&J line. In fact, I haven't taken the J&J plunge yet and I am very, very tempted to. But I won't right now. We have way too many clothes. However, the new boys line is SO cute and unique (the Pirate ship stuff) and I almost want to get my 2 year old an outfit from that line.

Yes!! I'm checking the Naartjie site every time I get on the computer!! LOL! I *love* the few pieces they've got showing so far! How will I decide?? I think I'm only going to get a couple of items right away...the ones I love the most, and try to wait for a sale for anything else.
