I'm back from Vegas and...

...boy, did I have fun shopping for Julia!

DH and I discovered the Fashion Show mall (directly behind Treasure Island) and spent a good portion of our day there yesterday. They have a Janie and Jack, a Gymbo, and a cute new store I just "discovered"--Cheeky! They sell cute, unique clothing at fairly reasonable prices (Naartjie, anyone?). Anyway, the company is based in South America, I believe, and there are is only one store in Vegas and some in Florida. Here's a link to the website in case anyone wants to peruse.

Anyway, Janie and Jack was having a pretty good sale, picked up these things for Julia:


This dress and matching sunhat from the Surf Girl line, which DH actually picked out! (This is amazing, since he usually discourages me from buying clothing for her, lol.)

The Gymbo was small-ish; maybe a tier 3? Anyway, they had some good finds on the sale rack, but DH was looming, so I had to be good. ;) Just picked up the lady bug tee and red terry shorts from Candy Apple for Julia to wear for her birthday party (we're doing a ladybug theme). And as we were leaving, DH grabbed an application for the Gymbo cc and told me I should cancel my Citibank card and apply for the Gymbo one!

Anyway, just wanted to share my finds!

I know the mall you speak of in Vegas. Excellent mall! I was introduced to the fabulous world of Nars cosmetics when I was there years ago. :)

Very cute clothes for Miss Julia! And don'tcha just love it when the hubby can get into the clothes shopping with you? Mine doesn't very often, but when he does, it's wonderful!

Honestly, I don't know how we've missed that mall on our other trips to Vegas, I usually have Mall-dar. ;) The only reason I knew it was there is because we got to chatting with a mom down by the pool at our hotel, and she mentioned that there was a Janie and Jack just down the strip. So of course, I had to go check it out!
