I guess I get to be one of the first to see it, since it's 9:12 AM here in Germany and I am thinking that most of you are sleeping soundly right now. All I know is this...it appears to be TDF!! ALL OF IT! I'm off to look, but I already saw one piece in Layette that I will have if I have nothing else:

OMG, I am loving these lines. I have to be good though. Here are some more pieces that I LOVE. I'm trying to only go for what I love.

I love the cheery, bright blue of these two pieces. I think they are great for Fall and Winter and fleece is so practical where we live. I think this blue will look so cute on Andie with her blue eyes.

And of course, matching hat:
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20040811_LOAD/0203-0061_close_362fb.jpg

I love this sweater too.

And I think it goes great with this jumper, but I just don't know if this color would be flattering on my Andie. I'm also trying to avoid overbuying dresses because of the future crawling factor. LOL!

I'm not sure I love anything in the Cute as a Button line yet. I'm sure I'll change my mind about that when you gals start posting pics of your little girls in some of it. Now I'm off to check out the little boys stuff.

Kerry,

that is adorable, but just so you know it's acrylic. I don't buy anything acrylic because it doesn't wash so well and my DD has mild eczema, so I don't lik eputting synthetic materials on her. Just to let you know!

Thanks for pointing that out, Imperia. I'll have to give it some more thought, but I just think it's so beautiful. I wonder if it will match some of the EH pieces we have? I would also use this as a piece over a L/S shirt so it wouldn't really touch her skin, KWIM? So far no skin irritations here either.

Okay, I've fully looked everything over and Cute as a Button is doing nothing for me at all. I like the colors and I love the striped stuff and the beret and tights, but I feel like I can find fun, funky stripes elsewhere. I do like this, but I don't love it. Something tells me that I will LOVE that beret once I see it on a baby. Maybe if I just got the beret, I could pair it with some basics. Much more practical.

I think my plan for Andie is going to be to stick to the Layette line (ONE outfit) and maybe get one outfit from Hide and Seek (the jumper and sweater I showed above).

H&S Thoughts:

I like the colours of HAS but not the execution, perhaps the colours just strike me as spring not fall. They are the same colours as Spring Showers, but I prefer them in SS. I don't like the mushrooms at all, the knit muschoom print reminds me of Ninetendo's Mario games. The soft aqua pieces are pretty cute, but I can find other things to buy. I will say I hope we get teh snowbib at my store because I live near Tahoe and it would be useful.

Walk in the Woods (Layette):

Love the colours, but I don't like the butterflies and while I do love the sweater dress DD is crawling now and we already have 3!!!! Sweater dresses for this fall/winter.

CAAB:

Okay this line is it for me. The colours are rich and very fall. I like the corduroy touches. Did you see the shoes?! OMG too cute.

Okay, now that you highlighted those shoes...

Those are ADORABLE! They would be really cute with the skirt too. Hmmmmm. I've yet to buy Andie any shoes. I'm funny about spending money on shoes for babies when all they do is lay, sit or crawl. LOL But, these are just too cute.

I have to have those shoes!!! :)

I like CAAB much better than H&S. The mushrooms are just weird to me and I'm not crazy about that green color.

The colors in CAAB are gorgeous, but I wish Gymbo would lay off all the words they are putting on clothes. That velour hoodie set would be TDF if it didn't have "CUTIE" plastered across it. I will probably get the striped cardi, skirt and tights that Imperia posted. Plus the jeans with the buttons at the bottom. And of course, the shoes!

Walk in the Woods is pretty, but I wish there were more of it. I do love that sweater jumper, though. Even though DD is crawling now, she will soon be walking, so maybe...just maybe I could get away with it!

Once again, I am in the minority. But I love the green color of HS. I was thinking about the sweater dress for my 3 yo. But, I assume that it is acrylic too? I definitely plan on getting the green cord jumper for my little one. ITA about words on clothes. I would love the aqua fleece outfit if it didn't have the writing.
CAB doesn't do much for me. I like the striped hoodie, cord jumper and tights.
I LOVE the fox panties! Can't wait to see FT.
Today the Gymboree outlet is opening in my neck of the woods. 2 1/2 more hours! :)

I have to say I LOVE this line! I am in big trouble if I am expected to have self control with this line. I love all the pieces Imperia posted, although I am not sure we will get the skirt just for practical reasons. I also love this outfit:

I looked through everything once, but I haven't really studied it so here are my first thoughts:

I'm loving CAAB!! I love the fabrics and the rich colors. It really looks like Autumn to me. I'll probably get several outfits from this line!

As for the velour hoodie set with "Cutie" across it-- I'm with the rest of you. I don't like words on clothing, but I love the color of that set so much that I'm trying to decide if I could live with it.

H&S-- I certainly don't hate it, but I'm not loving it either. I MIGHT get one outfit out of it.

Walk in the Woods- It's very pretty, but I think I'll have to see it in person. I think the coat is beautiful and I really like that cream l/s onesie.

I'm totally looking forward to Fox Trot.

BUT ONCE AGAIN, I DON'T LIKE KID GIRL AS MUCH AS BABY GIRL. Why does this happen with every line at every store?? My poor 4 year old is going to have nothing to wear-- seriously.

Shoot! This is going to kill me...how will I *ever* limit it to one outfit per line?!? I really like these lines! Argh.

After my first look, here are my faves:

From CAAB (my hands-down favorite!!!):
I'm not sure how she'll look in this color but she loves doggies!

I really like the mice and mushrooms. It reminds me of some things I wore growing up in the 70s but in a sweet, innocent sort of way rather than the more mod way of Sunshine Daydreams or Mod Zebra (wait, maybe those are 60s??). Anyway, the blue color is gorgeous. I really want the fleece outfit but that furry hood is too much for our southern weather. We'll see if I can figure out a cute shirt to match the pants. :)

I don't like any of the boys items (big boys) from In Thin Air. I had seen the Look Book and knew I was going to hate it. I guess our "boy money" is going to LE, Hanna, and MiniBoden. :)

A Walk in the Woods is very cute but doesn't do that much for me. We have enough lavendar from EH. :)

:) Marie, I liked a lot of the big girl pieces. I think you should be able to get a couple of cute outfits for her. The big girl button print dress is really cute IMO.

And, for some reason, the "cutie" on the velour jacket really bugs me but the "cute as a button" on the t-shirt is adorable! LOL! So, I guess it goes to show that I'm not against words in every case. :D

I was ready to write off Gymbo after that Mod Zebra fiasco, but now, I fear I'm going to be sucked back in. I'm going to have to make some tough choices--I had a bunch of Mini Boden stuff picked out, but CAAB is calling to me--and it will be much more affordable with COF + Gymbucks!

Excellent taste, as always! Ava will be getting that striped sweater, the jeans, and probably the skirt and tights. We will be getting that purse, too, but for ME! I LOVE it! I wish they made the hoodie sweater in women's sizes -- I even looked up the size chart to see if I could fit into a 12, but I don't think so :(

I am reserving final judgment until I see them IRL. Right now there a few things that I like from CAAS - the outfit that Imperia posted. I really love the shoes w/it. I'm not sure how the colors will look on dd though.

I like the colors of H&S, and they look good on dd, but I'm not crazy about the mushrooms and mice. Of course, this may change when I see it in person.

The sweater Kerry posted is really cute. I'm sure when it's all said and done, Gymbo will have a good portion of my money during COF.

Please post pics of your kiddos when you buy something, this always helps me.

I admit I don't like these lines as a whole as much as SFF, but I think there are a few pieces which I love!

I'm only buying for Kathleen since Ellen is all set with her Hannas. I am going to have to be really good, because I know I will want to buy her at least one outfit.

From CAAB, I love the striped tights, turtleneck, and beret that everyone has posted. I will definitely be getting those for K. I ADORE the shoes--so cute! I also love this shirt:

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/11197.jpg

In addition, I really like the mustard leggings to go with the striped top and beret. I will put the button shirt under either her khaki jumper or the denim one. The mustard jumper looks a litte too mustard-y to me. And if it's big enough, I may be all over that little button purse for me. Too cute!!

From HNS, I was really suprised. I thought I would like CAAB more, but I think I like this one better. I love these tops--esp. the striped ones with the elbow patches!--and will get some of the leggings to match.

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/11199.jpg

This scarf is really cute too. I would love to get her the striped coat, but I think it's just too pricey and she doesn't really need it.

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/11201.jpg

As always, all this could change once I go in the store and see everything in person. Of course, when that happens items don't usually go from "I like it" to "I hate it". They usually go from "I'm not sure about it" to "I love it!" :D

CAAB isn't doing it for me. I love the colors but not for a baby....I would definately love those colors for me or an older child but not Lucy.

Now H&S is definately where my money is going. I love the colors and I think the mouse and mushroom are just adorable!! :) I haven't narrowed down my choices yet but I can see plenty of it coming home with us!!

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/11202.txt

This shirt is adorable but I kinda feel like the 3 buttons make it look like it is the back of the shirt. I will have to see it IRL....am I the only one that thought that??

I was excited about the size 10-12 clothes for my older DD (9 years) but I don't know that she is going to like them much. Hopefully we can find one matching outfit for the girls but I am pretty sure that Gap is where my "big" girl money will continue to go!! She is much more into separates (jeans and tees/sweaters).

Can't wait for Friday!!

Well I am in love with these lines, especially H&S. I too am not crazy about the writing on some of the CAAB pieces or the fleece set from H&S, I feel like it makes them look tacky. Like Lisa, I am not sure if the CAAB colors will work on my DD but I really like it. I am in BIG trouble as I think I can only afford 1 outfit from each line, and when I added up everythnig I liked it came to about $750 pre-discount! GULP!

Well, I'm not that impressed. I do like the colors, but it seems like all the styles are just recycled with new fabrics - KWIM?

I'm getting the basics from the HAS line, but none of the pricier stuff.

I'll probably get the striped sweater from CAAB (with plain denim jeans, it would be cute), and I'll find some plain brown boots, since the button ones would be trashed the first time she wore them. I wish there was a scarf in the CAAB line - although in san Diego, I guess I don't really "need" it. The stripes and beret remind me an awful lot of Folk Song from last year. The buttons - I could do without. Even on my two year old, they seem a little too "cutesy".

Oh - does anyone else find the "fur ball ponies" kinda gross. It looks like furry meatballs to me! :)

That said, I've got 19 items in my shopping cart. I wish Hanna would hurry up and post their new stuff!

Wow, I could be in trouble! Fox Trot is the line I'm really waiting for (the description "like puppy love, but with a fox" was all I needed to hear!), but I really like a bunch of H&S, too. CAAB doesn't really do it for me-- not sure why, since those are the colors I usually love.

LOVE the green cord jumper several of you have already mentioned, but I wish there were blues-and-greens striped tights for this line-- not crazy about cream ones for my active toddler! But I'm crazy about jumpers in general, and this one couldn't be cuter, so I'll probably get it. I like several of the tops a lot-- the blue cord a-line, the all-over embroidered mushroom a-line, and the mouse pocket tee.

The other thing I like but haven't seen mentioned are the jeans. I can't seem to view a close up of them, so I'll have to wait to see IRL to be sure, but if I like them a lot, I'll need to decide between these and the zebras-- Eliza won't need need both. Decisions, decisions!

I'm totally in love with CAAB. I love those rich fall colors and fabrics. H&S is cute, but I'm not in love with it. And I can definitely do without AWITW because like someone else mentioned, we have a ton of lavender from EH. The most exciting thing for me, though, is the fact that layette now comes in 18-24 months! :)

This is so funny. I started this madness early this morning while you guys were all still asleep. I've had all day to look and relook and read all of these replies and I already see myself changing what I want. The biggest factor is...Andie's CLOSET! It's packed. I feel SO guilty getting more, especially since I just ordered 3 Naartjie outfits. What kills me is that I got 3 Naartjie outfits for about $70 shipped! Even with the COF discount, these new Gymbo lines are pretty pricey. I have 2 or 3 different orders I need to make for Huey as well, so I am beginning to re-think what I am going to pick out for Miss Andie from Gymbo.

khakismom

>I already see myself changing what I want.

Me too! What I do is throw it all into my online cart and then whittle it down to something do-able, all the while trying to hit the magic number to get as close to getting a GB without going over. (When it's finally finished, I print it out and take it with me to the store for COF.)

And today after I put it all in and pared it down at lunch, I went back to it a bit ago and am now attempting to delete more. I am normally a 1-2 outfit per line kinda gal, and with SFF that changed radically. I need to go back to the way I was because I don't want to get burned out on one line or color. Plus, with FT, new Naartjie, and Hannas on the horizon, I don't want to get myself in a hole. I need to remove $22 worth and I can do it super easily by removing this one top, but I'm just not sure yet because I love the color, it's so unique. I need to SEE it IRL!

Oh, my anguish... ;)

I must this... And the orange tee that Mary posted. I love Gymbo's rompers. Sucker for cargo pockets, like DS has anything to carry, LOL!

I have 2 questions - 1) The website has a free shipping offer, but it doesn't look like it can be combined with the COF code. Is there a way to combine it? I don't want to be charged both tax and shipping where there is a Gymboree 2 blocks from my office, but I don't have a COF coupon for use in the store .. which brings me to my second question - How do I get a COF coupon to use in the store? The little boy lines have never interested me before, but I (heart) the A Walk in the Woods.

TIA!

My initial impressions:

H&S--- I don't care for the mushrooms or the avacado green. It sort of reminds me of a kitchen in the 70's with the green fridge and brown mushroom wallpaper. If the little mouse jumper were a forest or hunter green I would love it. That being said, I still picked out some pants with tiny mushrooms because Ava needs comfy clothes and Gymboree is convenient.

CAAB---Very cute! I like a lot of it, but then it all looks alike. I am not at all bothered by the "cutie" on the hoodie set. I wouldn't want a lot of pieces from this line because I'd get tired of the rust color. A little is a nice fall feel.

AWITW---Cute, but I'm not feeling bunnies in the fall. I do like the floral top and will pair it with jeans or some plain lavender cords from somewhere else.

Here are my picks. This is all subject to change when I see it in real life.

Thanks for thinking of us! lol
We went to gymbo to see things in person........CAAB:they only had a few items out, but I really like the cranberry color! The orange-y jumper Im not sure about....would like to see DD try it on with a top under it (may just be too much orange since she is a size 5 now)....We may get the orange button heart tee instead.....but HAVE to get the sweater

HAS just isnt doing it for me....may not get any...gasp lol

I guess I'll be saving myself some money this month. I'm just not liking the new lines- I must be the only one. It looks like stuff my mom dressed me in when I was little. Maybe it's the colors...I think the only piece I liked was the dog sweater. Just means I'll have more to spend on Hanna!!

I'm new at this & have a silly question. We have to go to a wedding in November and my yet-to-be born baby girl will be 2-3 months old. I'm thinking about the striped sweater dress from H&S. I see some brown tights to go with, but what do babies wear for shoes for dress up or nothing at all? I appreciate the help.

Well, it's really personal preference but I don't like the look of tights without shoes. If I were doing it, I would get some Robeez or Jack & Lily or whatever soft shoes to go with it.

These brown Robeez kitties might be cute:

The classic Robeez in navy or brown:

I'm going to be spending a small fortune during COF because I love all 3 lines. I can easily see myself buying several outfits from each line.

I love the colors of the H&S line. My picks are the jeans, the mouse pocket cordorouy jumper & possibly the blue Fleece suit along with some of the basics.

From the CAAB line I love the orange cord jumper with the striped stockings and hat, the jeans are cute too. I also like the velour sweatsuit (words on clothing don't bother me). The cord skirt is adorable and I love those shoes! I also like the dog sweater (YAAAY it's NOT a poodle!!) and brown cord pants.

From WITHW I'm LOVING the crocheted cardigan and sweater dress. I don't have a single piece from EH, just because of the darn poodle and Eiffel tower, but I think bunnies are cute!

I'm in big, big trouble.

One thing I would have loved to have seen from either the H&S or the CAAB line is an afghan poncho.

Hey, I loved that scarf, too! Thinking about getting it for myself!

Okay, I'm not loving CAAB, but I'm a sucker for striped pieces. I love the colors for HAS, but am not loving the mushrooms and mice. I do love these colors for fall, but my DD doesn't look that good in pumpkin or the green so it's tough.

I love this "grannie sweater". I keep thinking that DH's grandma knit this-lol

and the matching hat

First--no you cannot combine the offers, it's one or the other.

Gymboree usually emails the coupons (which you can print out and take to the store) the night before the sale breaks. All you have to do to get them is toi sign up on the website for their email list.

I'm really liking several pieces from this line. I read all the responses here before going to the Gymbo site and really thought I would hate them since I usually run opposite the majority. Not this time. Now to decide what to get. :)

I'm definitely going to check out that dress for DD#1. I love the color and style of it. I'm just not sure about the print. I'll have to see it in person, but it is definitely a possibility.

I want 4 outfits from CAAB for DD#2. I'm not going to get all of them, but how will I choose?

I saw some of this stuff in the store last night and once again the colors on the website are not at all true to real life. With Mod Zebra, I liked it better in real life, but with Cute As A Button, I don't like it as much. Online I was in love with the pleated skirt and striped sweater, but in real life it is more maroon than purple. I was hoping for a more of a plum purple shade, but I find the maroon kind of garish.

I'll probably buy it anyway, these things have a way of growing on me.

The striped beret is lined in fleece, it looks very warm as well as cute.
