The girls' line is "Nouveau Daisy" (peach colored) and the boys' is "A Day at the Lake." (blue - fisherman inspired). Not huge collections, but cute! Happy shopping!

I love this line! I am so happy it came out, too, because it saved me from spending a bundle on Gymbo's new stuff, which I don't like anywhere near as much. Of course, no 30% off at J&J :(

I posted my pics on the J&J loop, so sorry for those who are seeing this twice!

I like this tee with the cords:

This jumper with onesie and tights:

And for special occasions, I must have these TDF velvet pants with this cardie:

OK - before I make the Janie & Jack plunge (LOL) ... I'm assuming the quality is BETTER than gymbo, or is that a wrong assumption? I know their stuff is WAY cuter... I'm thinking of getting Holden two outfitz from 'A Day at the Lake' line and then the TDF bear intarsia sweater from the 'Big Bear Camp' line.

is it really worth the $$?!?! LOL

Some of the A Day At the Lake line is absolutely up our alley as this is a huge fishing fanatic family!

IMO no! My DS received a romper as a holiday gift + it seems to be on par qualitywise with the Gap. The prices are way too steep + the quality is not like Hanna. The romper cannot be reused for another child because the fabric just did not hold up. I do not put any of DS's clothes in the dryer so this happened due to normal wear + washing.

I have actually found the quality to be exceptional. I am sure it varies like anything, but all the pieces we have had have washed beautifully (and I don't have time or space to hang dry, so ours all go in the dryer) and look good as new every time.

Oh boy. That is *not* what I needed to know! LOL! Wesley is in B'ham right now with my parents and I'm supposed to meet them tomorrow to bring him home. Maybe I should drive all the way up there to make a shopping detour! :)

I think I'm gonna get the fisherman sweater - it's more versatile for one and Holden's already got the barnyard sweater, and a sweater left over from his brother, and I'd like the fisherman sweater and I'm sure we'll get a couple more.

I'm planning to return the fisherman cardigan I got at gymbo, it's WAY too cute!

Ok, here's what I want ...

I ordered the fisherman sweater in an 18/24 mth and a 2t b/c I want to make sure I have one ......I'll send back whatever one doesnt work. I also ordered the red rocket sweater...they only had 18/24 so I hope that fits. I also wanted the fish shirt, canoe shirt and the plaid shirt but they are too much full price (for me)...if they go on sale I'll grab some. As far as the jeans, I just got some cute ones at Gap for 19.50 :) The socks are sooooo cute but Connor's legs are too chubby heehee.
Jenn, you have to show us a picture of the boys closets!

As soon as I'm done ordering for fall (LOL) ..... Holden's closet is INSANE but I've seen worse (a certain beloeved Kerry in Germany comes to mind!! hehehehe ;))

Seriously though - I've taken a lot of Holden's stuff back because I'm finding I like the stuf I find online MUCH better - I'm still looking for a really cute pair of brown dressy shoes .. I bought him a pair (Sperry) but they are too dressy for my taste. I want casual, cute and comfortable (the 3 C's! LOL)

Gap jeans don't seem to fit Holden well (too wide LOL the 2T fall right off but 18-24mo isn't long enough).

I actually had a HUGE cartful at babystyle but realized I really just wanted that one outfit the most, so I removed everything but it. I'm still waffling tho.

Jenn,

If I had a boy, that's exactly how I would want to dress him. I love that babystyle outfit.

I have to agree with Robyn. DD has gotten a lot of use out of her J&J clothing, therefore they have gone through many washings and dryings in the dryer. They still look brand new.

As with every manufacturer, different fabrics vary in softness. Some of our pieces are softer than our softest Hannas, and some aren't quite that soft.

Jenn,

Great choices. I love this boy's line.

BTW - do you need an addition to your house yet for all your clothing purchases you're making? -lol

Okay, I don't just love everything in the new baby girl line, I adore it. ADORE! This J&J stuff is seriously going to make me reconsider getting anything from Gymbo during COF. I MUST have that crocheted hat. And Jenn, I love those boys picks. Oh dear, why do I have to like the more expensive brand that never has good sales?
