Help! I got the catalog today and I can't wait to get the playdress/leggings combo. I've decided I want the red/pink leggings with both stripes and dot dresses for variety. Here's my dilemna -- what size to get. Abbie is 29.5 inches long and probably about 18.5 pounds. The 70 zippers fit perfectly on her right now and the 80s are well, big. I'm debating ordering either everything in an 80 or getting the striped baby set in the 70 and getting the dot dress in the 80, figuring she'll be able to wear the 70 leggings no matter what -- I'm worried about whether the 80 would fall off her tiny waist and that gives her one dress to "fit" and one to "grow into" but right now she's near the top of the chart for the 70 and I don't want her to grow out of it too soon. We probably won't even wear longsleeves here until late October.

I also love the chicka chicka dress, but I know I'll get the 80 in that since you can always wear a jumper big and the 70 striped tights, since I think their tights run big (yes, no, any thoughts??) with probably the 80 turtleneck. Hmmm.

Thanks for your help!!

I'm going to suggest sticking with 80's - especially for Hanna leggings - they fit snugger and the cuffs are easily rolled. Neve's a little bit taller 33" - and the 70's still fit, but are starting to look like capris.

I would go with 80s and that way you will get two years of wear out of them.

The 80 leggings should stay up okay, they have an elastic waist. You could call customer service and ask them to measure the waistband unstretched so you can know how it will fit.
