I hope I am not reporting something, but I checked back a biut and didn't see anyone mention it. Did you guys see J & J posted a new line...Snow Leopard.

Okay some of this is cute, but most of it is atrocious in my opinion, Pink leopard prints? Ugh, it reminds me of the ON pink and grey zebra stuff, bleck.

Has any one else noticed J & J are doing versions of each other lines all the time now? Now Gymbo has a carousel layette! And Gymbo has Red Baron right after J & J had that airplane line. Do they really need to do this?

this dress is lovely (velvet btw), and reminds me of something I had as a child, HOWEVER, short sleeves, again. WHY?! at least they could be 3/4 legnth. Oh, and it's $78.00! Maybe it would be nice for DD's birthday though... (January).

I might not get the khakis, as I can find khakis cheaper, elsewhere.

I also like these, but I probably won't get them.....

I just saw it and did not love it like I usually love their stuff. I am not a fan of leopard in any color (pink or brown!) I do love the dress Imperia posted but thought $78 was absurd! They also have a burgundy velvet one piece that would be sweet on a small child.

I did not check out the boys stuff - am going to do that now.

I also noticed a while ago that J&J and Gymbo have similar lines often (like the airplane one) I know they are the same company, but I don't get why you would want to compete with yourself? Maybe the theory is that Gymbo is a similar look for a bit less?

Don't think I will be getting any of the girls stuff from this line - however good news is Nouveau Daisy is on sale - there were a few cute things from that line.

Well, I don't like any of the leopard print stuff (a bit tacky?) but I do like a few of the other items but probably not enough to purchase them.

I like all of these outfits but probably not enough to buy them unless they go on super-sale! Do you think this is the only line they'll have for Christmas? If so, I'm bummed.

I agree -- not loving this line. Pink leopard is really not my style. I do like the burgundy velvet one-piece, but we already have a Christmas dress, and I don't think we'll have that many holiday events to go to.

I do like a few of the non-leopard items, but like Denise said, not enough to buy them unless they go on sale more than 20%.

I am actually relieved that I haven't loved the last few J&J and Gymbo lines. I am going to buy another outfit or two from the Nouveau Daisy line now that it's on sale, one top from Aviary and then let my bank account breathe for awhile :)

Denise, I am almost positive there is another holiday line coming in October. One of the SAs mentioned darker colors for the holidays.

I love the dog sweater, hat + mittens. I like the colors of this line but I doubt we'll be getting anything. I have yet to succumb to Janie + Jack mainly due to the price. If I'm going to pay so much, I'd rather buy something from Hanna.
I still think of Janie + Jack as overpriced Gymboree + it is irritating that the boys' lines are so much cuter + in better colors at J + J so I rarely buy anything!

Last year, I bought a ton of J&J stuff for fall/winter: Remember "Secret Garden" and "Antique Skates?" I loved that stuff.

Not this year. I don't like animal prints on small children--way too "adult" IMO.

The things I like in this line seem to be silk, cashmere, or merino wool... Um, I don't think so.

I agree with the PP that if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'm going to do so on something my child will actually wear more than once.

I think J&J is changing its strategy from being a store that is a bit nicer than Gymboree to a store you go to only for special occasion clothes--and the prices are jacked up accordingly. I can't see myself buying multiple pieces from one line anymore. Just as well since my kiddo's size (18-24) usually sells out before the first round of markdowns.

I'm not impressed, but ya know what? That's good. My bank account needs a break too. I don't really care for the girls or the boys lines. I'm happy to hear from Robyn that there might be more holiday-ish stuff on the way because none of this stuff is very Christmasy.

So the big question is can I get a Price adjustment on something I just ordered online 2 days ago? I ordered that Daisy floral dress and now it's on sale. I wonder if they'll do a PA over the phone considering where I live?

Thankfully, I am not loving this line. Animal prints are NMS. I love the rosette velvet dress, but short sleeves are not practical for winter here. Hopefully, there will be another Holiday line, I'm not having much luck finding a Christmas dress for dd.

I guess I'll be the voice of dissent--I absolutely ADORE the pink leopard prints in this line! I am a huge leopard-print fan (DD's carseats are the Britax arctic cat print, and I had a leopard-print blanket custom made for her that's faux leopard fur on one side and hot pink satin on the other).

I am in love with these pieces:

But, I just can't stomach J&J prices--absolutely outrageous! If any of these items are left when this line goes on sale, I might consider it.

I went by J&J this afternoon to grab some sale Nouveau Daisy things and got to see the new line in person. It's actually much better IRL, though I still hate the pink leopard items. The velvet pieces are gorgeous and super-soft, not stiff like some velvet is. I loved the one-piece and the pants.

The white cardie with the pink designs is very pretty as is the gray cardie with pink silk trim. The pink pinstriped overalls and the white and pink jumper were also very cute.

I absolutely love all of the boys line, especially the half-zip fleece and the fleece pants. I want that for me! LOL. I have never bought from J&J, but I think I'm going to have to for this. :)

I bought that sweater coat for DD! It is a very beautiful sweater! It used be in halloween section. (probably still is...) I got it in bigger size (2T), so that she will still be able to wear it again next year. That's the only way I can justify spending $58 on one item...!

I am not a leopard print person, but I think I NEED these:

I know it's not very Thanksgivingey, but if this stuff goes on sale before Turkey weekend, I may be in trouble!

I love that sweater coat, too! I've been eyeing it ever since it showed up on the site. If they are still left when they go on sale, we'll probably end up with one making it's way to our house. :)
