Mommy's of girls - how do J&J's cardigans/bodysuits fit?

I just bought the fairy pants that are on sale for DD to wear in the spring. I got 6-12 mos as she will be 1 next July. I also bought 6-12 mo. in the matching puff-sleeve bodysuit and cardigan. I am wondering if I should have bought 12-18 mos in the tops just to play it safe? I remember my DS could always wear a bigger top than bottom. I may still be able to get the larger size if I check the store this week.

Sadly, J&J layette only goes up to 12 months, so there are no 12-18 sizes :( Believe me, I wish there were!! We have the same bodysuit and pants outfit -- Ava is 8 months now (26", about 16 lbs) and is fitting into it almost perfectly (she could probably grow another inch or two before she couldn't wear it anymore).

BTW, if your store has any more of those cardies in 6-12 (or the little matching socks!), I would LOVE to have it if you wouldn't mind picking it up for me. My store is sold out :( I bought the reversible jacket, but don't like it as much.

I didn't think her 6-12mo. bodysuits were going to fit, but they still do! And my baby is big! At 11mos, she's almost 24lbs. and at her 9mo. checkup, she was already 30inches. (She's always been around 90% for weight/height) So, hopefully, yours will be just fine.

Thank you so much! I was so sad when that cardie was sold out. I have PP waiting if you find it! I would need a 6-12 in the cardie and 6-12 in the socks if they have them.

and neither store has the cardigan in 6-12 mos. However, the manager told me they ship stuff, so maybe you could try calling some other stores and see if they have it and can charge-send it to you? Or maybe your store can do a computerized search to see who has it?
