I belong to gymbobaynmoretoo on yahoo. Weird name, I know. The 'bay' is in reference to Ebay, I think anyway. It's the only group I'm in, so I can't give you a comparison, but I can tell you this:

Pros -
*lots of nice ladies - I had some great loopie transactions
*good gymbo info - source of ISO's and FS's
*good source of 'hidden' ebay auctions - a woman named Karen would
seek out hidden auctions and post the links - I really liked that :)

Cons -
*the off topic traffic - way too much clutter, and stuff I simply didn't care to read about.
*auction spam - you might find a group with a "no spam" rule
*some very weird people - *not* like BBB at all

Also, I am on hannakids4us (a Hanna Andersson yahoo group), and it started off great. Not too many people, just hanna info, iso/fs information, and the members kept it strictly hanna. In no time at all though, there was lots of auction spam. And, it wasn't even hanna spam - it was baby lulu, gymbo, gap, etc... To me, that's very annoying.
