What's the definition of "raglan"?

Seems like I see it a lot, and have never known exactly what it means. Is it when the sleeves and collar are one color and the rest of the shirt is another? I think I always called those baseball shirts.

It refers to a certain way of attaching the sleeves to the body of the shirt. The seam goes diagonally from the underarm to the collar, instead of vertically at or near the shoulder joint.

These are raglan sleeves. The color doesn't matter. :)
