Boys/Girls in size 5/6 or 6X/7, incredible LL Bean parka deal

On the Overstocks page, on the right hand side are some items listed as "not quite perfect." They have 2 parkas listed, a boys and a girls and they are $39...originally $100 or something like that and these jackets are comparable to other brand name 3 in 1 parkas that run closer to $150. Well,I ordered one for Huey in a 5/6 (will last a LONG time for us) and I can't for the life of me figure out what is not so perfect with these jackets. Anyway, just wanted to share because I know some of you have older kids and might like this jacket for them.

Is the 5/6 the medium? I am thinking the 6x/7 would be perfect for Sam-which color did you get? TIA

Okay I found the size chart-now color? Green or the orange?

I got Huey the one that says Liberty blue (mixed with green). The colors are great. The green is a bit more subdued that it appears on the computer screen...much nicer than I imagined. Yes, the Medium is 5/6 and the large is described as 6X/7. I have no idea what "6X" means versus just "6." I got Huey the 5/6. When I first found out about the deal, there were smalls (4), but they sold like hotcakes and it disappeared from my cart. That's when I very quickly placed the order for the 5/6 (M) figuring that I would definitely get use out of it at some point, even if it was huge on him this winter. For this type of jacket, this is a steal! Anything with a waterproof/breathable shell is usually big bucks.

I wish I could see the orange one :( We love orange! But I am ordering the green/blue b/c my son loves green and I am afraid the other will be girly. Thanks for posting-we needed a winter coat!
