The layette lines look adorable but I'm starting to think my DS might be a little too old for them. The girls' lines are very cute - can't wait to see some pictures. I'm not loving, or even liking, the new boys' line which is a bummer since my DS seems to be going through a growth spurt and actually needs some new tops + sweaters.

Enjoy!

Maybe this is a good sign that I am chilling out with my excessive shopping, but I'm not feeling that anything is MUST have with the new Gymbo lines. Don't get me wrong, there is some cute, cute stuff, but I'm not feeling the usual panic that I feel that I HAVE to have something. At any rate, these are some things that I think are really cute.
In baby girl:
Giraffe- Nothing in this line excites me. I love brown and pink, but this line just isn't doing it for me. I do think the giraffe is really cute though and the one piece that I think is the best from this line is this sweater. The buttons running down the sleeve are so unique.

Tiger- Of the three animal lines, I like this one the most, but again, nothing is must have. I think these things are really sweet and would be so cute for Valentine's Day.
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20041105_LOAD/1532-0132_main_3a133.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20041105_LOAD/1528-0249_main_3a0b1.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20041105_LOAD/1533-0145_main_3a179.jpg
And I like this velour dress and the heart one would be such an adorable little dress for Valentines.
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20041105_LOAD/1543-0134_main_3a22d.jpg http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20041105_LOAD/1543-0132_main_3a223.jpg
(Can ya tell I like the tiger line the best?)

Panda- I only really like 1 piece and it's this jumper. The rest is just okay, cute, but just okay to me.
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20041105_LOAD/1539-0069_main_3a205.jpg

Layette Girl- Do not like it at all.
Layette Neutral- The mokeys are the cutest (IMHO) in the new layette lines. I like the MONKEY hoodie and the sweater. I love how the little monkies spell "Monkey" on the hoodie and I love how you see the front of the monkey on the front of the sweater and the back of the monkey on the back of the sweater.

Love the idea on this onsie too:
http://a116.g.akamai.net/7/116/2088/infinite/www.gymboree.com/media/images/products/20041108_LOAD/0801-0160_close_3aa15.jpg

Baby Boy (vintage ski) and Kid Boy (Grizzly Peak)- I like the colors in this, but I think that puppy dog they put on some of the cuter pieces is funny looking (again, IMHO). I'll put it this way. I don't hate this line the way I have hated boy Gymbo lines in the past, but I don't love it and we certainly don't need any of it. No need to even share any pieces because I will not be getting any of this unless it's around during a huge sale and then I might get some basics for next year.

Edited to say that I do think the Layette boy stuff is really cute. This sweater is SOOOOO cute. If I had a boy in layette sizes, THAT, would be a must have for me.

I am so glad that I'm not feeling compulsive about any of these lines though. Phew!!!

NMS at all. I was one of those mod-zebra haters. I guess I just don't love animals on girl clothes. I have not had much luck with Gymboree this fall--I feel like everything has had some sort of cartoon on it--poodles, zebras, cats, foxes, mice. I yearn for the days of Indian Summer, Apple for the Teacher, Tip Toe, and that cute holiday cherry line from last year.

I guess I like the flowers and fruit--and we've had none of that lately!

I agree. I'd much rather have florals than animals. That's why I'm loving Janie and Jack so much I guess. I didn't like Mod Zebra when it came out and I still don't like it.

How do you feel about vegetables? That's the theme of the next line. I'm not sure what I think about it. I'll have to wait and see, I guess.

Well, I'm in the minority, but I think the boys layette is adorable!!! I had actually decided I was not participating in the Gymboree sales this next couple of months because Camden has plenty of clothes, but I'm going to have to break that for sure!!

I don't *hate* the new lines, but I don't see many must-haves either. I'm not wild about animals on clothing either. Mod Zebra was my least favorite line ever.

However, I do LOVE LOVE LOVE the red fringed sweater that Kerry posted above. I think it is so precious and I could remove the little tiger puppet if I wanted. However, I don't know if we really *need* another pair of jeans and I don't see anything else I would put with the sweater, so I'm not sure if it will be coming home with us or not.

And, WHY couldn't they make that fringed sweater for big girls?? I would rather buy it for Anneliese than for Ella Paige, but it isn't offered for her. Once again, I like the Baby Girl lines much better than Kid Girl. (Isn't this a familiar refrain? I say this EVERY time!)

I'm open to vegetables. What's the theme? Carrots? Eggplant? Acorn squash?

I love the layette boys' lions and the monkeys! DS really doesn't need anymore clothes for this season, but I think that at least one outfit from this line is going to have to come live at our house. :)

I have been turned off by Gymbo for so long now (boys). After taking a second look to this, I do like the Monkey & Lion sweater sets. The cargo jeans with the elastic look comfy (I hate all those buttons!!) I am anxious to see these IRL and make my decision then.

OMG...Vegetables...are you serious??!! I'll have to see this, but I don't think it's my thing!!!

Nothing is goosing me either. I really like the panda colors the best, but don't really like the styles. The only thing I think I am getting is this dress, and I will be getting it for next year (since the girls need nothing for this winter). And if I get it for next year, I can get the size 3 for Ellen. :) I also really like the panda sweater, but again, the girls don't need any more sweaters.

Yep, the next girls line is called "Grown with Love" and it has a vegetable theme. I remember seeing pea pods, carrots and (maybe) radishes. The colors are kind of bright-- they reminded me a little of Tip Toe. It is a winter capsule line. I'm really not sure how I feel about it.

Hi, Maureen!! Glad to see you! I miss your posts!!

Just wanted to mention that there are a pair of velour leggings in Apres Ski that have the same color name as the panda dress, so they'll probably go together.

Hi Marie!! I miss posting! :)

I am really trying to squeeze in more board time. I feel like I've been gone forever and missed so much. Plus, I knew there was no way I could go thru the holidays without the BBB. LOL!

Ohh, I'll have to check out the velour leggings--they sound perfect! THANKS! :)

I love the older lines "Holiday Magic Cherries" and the Poppies, I guess they're more traditional and typically that's me. I'm always posting asking where the red and simple clothes can be found. But,I call DD my "Chunky Monkey". Even in utero I referred to her as monkey since we didn't know whether she was a boy or girl and I continuously felt her toes under my ribs- like a monkey hanging from a tree. So, I think I'll have to get some of those monkey pieces :)

I love, love, love the monkey layette line. I'm just kind of bummed b/c I bought ahead with the monkey newborn necessities line, and now feel like maybe he has too many monkeys?

Still, I think I'll be getting a bunch of stuff during FOG ... :-)

I really like the fact that they have these little two piece outfits in the layette line, sort of like the cute sets at babystyle.

I also like this velour piece:

I did not get anything from the garden friends line, but I'll probably get at least one monkey outfit for my littlest monkey!

Well, I'm in love with the baby girl tiger line, and there are a few pieces from the giraffe line we have to have (specifically the fur-collar sweater and giraffe-print fringe pants). I don't care for the panda stuff at all. I really like the zebra layette line, and although my DD can still wear layette, layette just looks rather baby-ish to me, so we'll be passing.

I seem to be in pretty much the same camp as most of you-- I'm not wildly, gotta-have-it in love with any of the new lines, but I do think most of them are pretty darn cute. Then again, I love animals on clothes, partly because the kiddos themselves seem to like them so much.

This set is what's most likely to come home with us this week, although I do wish they'd have picked an animal other than the zebra again. Why not elephants?

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/17037.jpg

I was planning to get the velour hoodie set from Apres Ski, but I think this'll take its place. I think I prefer the color, and the pants should fit my skinny girl better than the boot-cut style. And if this jacket weren't unavailable until Nov. 24 (any chance it's in the stores, just not online yet?), it'd come home, too. Love the zebra zipper pull!

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/17040.jpg

While browsing the site this morning, I realized I haven't bought anything from any lines since H&S and CAAB! Well, the basic pink tee from CS, but that's it. I had bought the FT jumper outfit, and the Days of Yesteryear overalls, but returned both. Eliza just didn't need another jumper, and I had to admit to myself that as much as I loved the overalls, the fabric was just too impractical for us.

Okay, I'm in the minority as well. I LOVE the giraffe stuff. The dress is TDF and I love the giraffe pants. I am wishy washy about animal prints. We don't own a single piece of MZ. I think that the pink and brown makes it a little bit more feminine than the black and white of MZ. I also love the panda sweater and the pants are cute. I heard only tier 1 got panda stuff so I'm not sure if I will get these this sale since I usually shop at a tier 2.

I am so happy about the button-bottom jammies!!! I hope they keep making this style - so cute!

I've only been a Gymbo shopper for about a year, and this is the third Monkey theme I've seen...I'm all for monkeys, but I think people will start thinking I'm a little weird if my son constantly has a monkey on his body.

I like the idea of the lion, but I don't like the design of the lion they are using.. I much prefer the lion from that Safari line that came out around April 2003 (someone bought it as a gift for my shower, I had never been in a Gymbo before!)

Nothing is knocking me out, and I'm pretty much on a spending freeze as far as DS's clothes are concerned. Jiminy, today he is wearing an outfit from last winter, so why do I keep buying him new clothes??? He's not the fastest grower you ever seen!

ETA: I do think this is cute...spoke too soon! Seems like it's not something I see every day, KWIM?

I didn't even realize that they were about to introduce new lines! I'm so out of touch! LOL!

I think the new stuff is really cute but like others have said, there's nothing I can't live without! I just ordered a bunch of stuff from Naartjie so I need to control myself anyway! :)

Denise, what did you get from Naartjie?

I received Kathleen's fuschia rayon jumper yesterday--SO CUTE! We paired it with the old rose peter-pan collar shirt. It's much dressier than most of the Naartjie stuff. It didn't really look right with any of the leggings underneath so we'll be using tights.

All the other stuff I sent back, including Ellen's stuff, because I didn't love it. Poor girl only has 1 Naartjie outfit. Their stuff seems to fit Kathleen better. But now I am debating getting the fleece and knit dress. I know Kathleen would LOVE the twirly skirt! :)

Well, I ordered a bunch with the intention of returning some but then my order arrived all botched! :(

What I ordered:
1. the new corduroy dress in pop with the rib pants with velour ruffle in pop
2. the corduroy embroidered top with the floral pants with corduroy ruffle both in flower
3. the crush dye velour dress and pants in bluebell
4. the peter pan collar top (with fringe tie) in bluebell and striped fringe pants in cliff/bluebell

Outfits 1 & 4 arrived correctly but the rest was messed up. I love the pop color but I'm not in love with the dress. OTOH, I love the pants with velour ruffle so I may get them to send me a different top to go with them. The 4th outfit is really adorable. That top is just TDF! My only question is whether the pants really match it right or not. I'll post pictures when the rest of my order arrives. :)

I'm totally underwhelmed by the new lines. Nothing in any of them appeals to me. Apres Ski and Bubble Fun are much more to my liking. Now, I'm just hoping that AS and/or BF will be marked down during COF. Doubtful, I know, but I'm still hoping!

First of all I love, love, love the Panda stuff!! Lucy looks great in blue and I just love it. I think the Panda is just adorable. I might have to get all of it!! This is probably my favorite line since Whale Watching. :)

I think I figured out that I like animals on clothes just not animal prints. I think a few of the tiger shirts are cute and might go good with the stray pair of groovy valentine jeans I have.

Zebra and Giraffe I will pass on. The monkey stuff is pretty cute but yellow doesn't work to well for us. I may have to get the jammies though. They are too cute. Now I can't wait for FOG!!

Gymbo's lines just aren't doing it for me lately. I don't see anything in the new lines that I want. And I have not gotten anything but the basic velour leggings and solid lap sleeve tees since CAAB. I'm not crazy about all these critters all over everything either - although I do like the off white ls tee with the zebra from mod zebra that I picked up on sale.

Oh well, Miss Mia certainly isn't suffering from a wardrobe crisis - though now I may have an excuse to look at some Janie and Jack stuff, which I normally do not allow myself to do!
