I thought I'd rely on all of you for some more advice/opinions. I mentioned in my other post that I'm having trouble making up some outfits out of Tiger Love for Anneliese. Denise and Karin offered some great suggestions, but I hadn't run this combo by them and I want to know what everyone thinks.

I bought this sweater with the denim skirt. I'm not in love with the skirt, but I still like the sweater.

I also bought this shirt thinking that I might put it with a pair of gray basic pants.

Well, the gray pants are too big in the waist, so I went back and bought these velour pants which are such a beautiful shade of red!!

I tried the sweater on today with the red velour pants and it really looked kind of cute together. My question is: How do you think the sweater looks with "sportier" velour pants? The sweater itself is kind of sporty-looking, but I don't normally put those two types of things together. So, what do you think?

If you don't like those things together, I could buy the hoodie to go with the velour pants

But then I don't know if I would need BOTH tiger outfits, so at that point, I'd probably choose between doing the tiger sweater with basic jeans or the tiger hoodie set.

If you stuck with me this far, THANKS! Any and all opinions welcome!!

I think the sweater will look great with the velour pants.

I am craving that sweater now. :)

Here's the jeans I want. Not made by Gymboree but I love them! I actually may make some of my own if I don't get these.

Here's the auction link. She also made a pair to match the panda stuff.

Now of course they are pretty expensive! So out of your pictures I love the hoodie and pant set. Sorry I don't like sweaters with those style pants. Now I would personally keep both the hoodie set and sweater then pair the sweater with jeans and/or a plain denim skort/skirt. However if you have to choose then I think she'll get more use out of the hoodie and pants. It's more a casual look. Plus sweaters are more a winter item where as the hoodie can go well into spring time.

Marie,

I think the sweater would look nice with the red velour pants or jeans. I really like this shade of red too. I also like the hoodie with it. If you are only going to keep one, I'd look at whatshe needs more, a sweater or a hoodie set.

I know! Her stuff is amazing but they are getting so high priced! I will probably end up making my own-similar to hers. But the idea for them is a great one b/c I didn't really like any of the bottoms for both the panda or the tiger-now I have ideas on some!

I think that the sweater and velour pants would look cute together. They are both sporty which makes them go. I also like the look of the t-shirt with the velour pants...really cute! I'm not in love with the hoodie for some reason. Maybe keep the sweater, tee, and velour pants and that way you can mix and match the tops with jeans, too.

Those jeans are cuuuuute!! I love them, but they are a little too rich for my blood. And I have NO sewing capabilities. Oh well, I guess it's basic jeans for us.

Thanks, everyone!! I think I'm just going to go with the pieces that I have. I like the hoodie okay, but I figure that if I *loved* it, I would have bought it when I first saw it.

So, I'll keep the velour pants and the tee. I'll let her wear that as a casual outfit. And I'll put the sweater with jeans. But if she's wearing the pants and the tee, I could always throw the sweater on if it's chilly and we're running out.
