Did anyone do any shopping today?

I did some toy shopping online and ran to the PX (which was dead, no madness here), but I'm wondering how many of you braved the malls and shopping centers in the USA? Any good deals?

As for baby/kid clothes, I'm buying NOTHING. The gymbo sale didn't even tempt me. What did tempt me was the Naartjie sale, which is 40% already reduced merchandise, but I was strong and didn't order anything.

I wa strong and did not do any clothing shopping. We do NOT need anything! I went crazy at Gymboree with 2 cute boy lines in a row (planes AND space!) sn the new lines didn't tempt me much. I am done clothes shopping until 2005 when the winter stuff goes on sale and I start buying for next year.

However we did shop. DH got up for the 6 am sales and got the Godfather DVD collection for $30, a DVD/VCR combo for $40, 2 way radios for $3 and a super fancy graphics card for the computer for $100. I ran out afterwards and got some 'free after rebate' itesm from Office Max. We also scored some good computer/electronics deals at the Comp USA sale on Wednesday (including doubling the memory in our Mac for $30!).

And this afternoon I have been filing multiple rebate forms while DH and DD put up the outdoor Christmas lights!

The mall today? Not a chance. I did go to the Carter's outlet in a strip mall and one of the items I bought was more expensive than it was a couple of weeks ago, so no great sales at Carter's.

No clothes shopping here...I did find everything I wanted at Target and I didn't even get there until 12:30!! I was THRILLED when I found a "misplaced" item that was "sold out"!! That was my score for the day!! ;)

I came into some extra money a few days ago after selling my breast pump and Conner's Leapfrog Table, so my family and I headed out to the outlet mall today. I didn't really plan on buying anything, but I ended up with stuff from Carters, Osh Kosh, Gap, and KB Toys :o!

I went to Kohl's around 8:30 am specificaly b/c they had their Little Tykes and FP at 50% off. I needed to buy for 4 toddlers so it was a no brainer there. It was not horrible but I had to wait 5 minutes and hunt down a cart outside in teh parkinglot as someone was unloading LOL!
