Anyone used their Gymboree Visa Reward yet?

You get 5% off the total--doesn't matter if it's full price or not!

I got kind of irked when I used my rewards card. Mind you my card was only worth 12.00 but when I used my Gymbo visa to pay the rest of the balance, they said the 5% off doesn't apply to that transaction because of using the GC!! Gymbo never ceases to amaze me...

I used my Gymboree Visa reward when they were offering the additional 25% off merchandise, the parachute promotion and the 10% off December savings. You can use the visa reward with all promotions except the 5% off using the visa card. The explanation I was given was that it is because the GC is a form of payment and the 5% discount is not valid when one than one form of discount is used. I was annoyed at first but I got over it. My reward was $23 and I was able to get three outfits, a parachute ($42 value) and a gymbuck for $52. The visa discount would have only been an additional $3 discount. If your visa reward is small maybe you could split your purchase up?

I was able to receive 5% off with my Gymbo Visa when I redeemed my reward.
