I need something for my DS to wear in the car - in NC we get a lot of sunny days (bright, low in the sky winter sun!!!) and he hates it when it shines in his eyes while driving in the car. I have the sun shades on the window but they don't block out everything. Anytime the sun hits his eyes he fusses so I thought why not sunglasses? if they make some with a strap or something to keep them on his face??? or am I asking for too much? He actually doesn't mind things on his head (hats) so I think he might leave them alone if they have a strap to secure them.

TIA!

Try http://babybanz.com. You can buy them at a number of places. We had them when DS was under a year and they were ok, but he didn't really like to wear them. This summer we just used regular kid sunglasses and that worked better but he was a little older.

We had these for when DD#1 was a baby. They're quite cute and velcro in the back.

Our son loves his KidzBanz (Same as babybanz but bigger). Though we started him early with glasses and hats so he was already used to wearing things. The bands won't keep them on your child if they want them off, but they seem to be comfortable. He won't go outside without them and does prefer his KidzBanz to that other brand (which escapes me at the moment)..Jazo-shades I think?
