My DS is 9 months, so this is his first winter. I'd like to buy him some turtleneck onesies, but don't know where to begin. I have found a number of turtleneck tops, but no onesies.

Are turtleneck shirts better than onesies? Any brands you experienced Mammas would recommend? I would greatly appreciate some advice!

TIA.

I bought DS some turtleneck onesies at Target but they have them at Gymboree, Janie and Jack, etc. I got these back in the fall (a white one and a red one) so I don't know if they'd still have them in stock. I kind of wish I'd gotten the next larger size for later this winter. Kicking myself that I didn't do that...

I also saw some at Babygap. I bet they are on sale now too.

I've seen them at Target, Gymboree, and Childrens Place.

I use Gymboree's all the time and have been very happy with them.

Target has theirs on sale now so you can get them for just a couple of dollars. We have a few and they have held up pretty well.

I just recently bought a few at the Carter's store for $5 a piece.

DS has several from Gymboree and we are happy with them. I would definately go with onesies so they stay tucked in and keep your child warmer.

We are big fans of the Target (Circo) and Children's Place tnecks - you can't beat them for the money! We also love Talbot's kids tnecks for the colors (baby blue, green, pumpkin, etc.) - they are on sale now for $7 - my only tip is I think they run small (DS wears a 2T in them, when he wears 18 months in everything else). HTH!

Gymbo is having a huge sale on turtlenecks, I think they are like 6.99? I love them they fit well and don't ride up!
