I decided maybe we need some pictures to perk up the posting around here! I miss you all...where are you and when are you coming back? :D

Here are some pics of Amy Grace modeling her new spring Gymbo things!

GWL s/s food tee and jeans (I really love this outfit!):

Same outfit with veggie cardie added:

http://www.windsorpeak.com/dc/user_files/19055.jpg

DW s/s dandelion bodysuit with plaid skirt (I know that I don't usually get skirts but this one is just TDF! How do you think it looks?):

DW sweater top (LOVE it!) with dandelion print pants (I think this outfit is sooo cute!):

And I realized that although I bought the pieces to go the other way, they are interchangable so here are the reverse outfits.

I really, really like the Dandelion Wishes line and will probably manage to spend some of my GB buying more. :) Of course, that will all depend on what's coming out new for GB redemption.

I'm interested to hear your opinions, especially on the skirt. :) Anyone else have pictures to share?

She looks adorable in everything. As I always say, I would be in so much trouble if I had a girl! I especially like the outfit with the cardigan and the capris and the DW pants outfit with both of the shirts. She looks so tall. The skirt is cute - preppy - but I'm not a plaid person.

Thanks for posting. Pictures do liven it up!

It has been so quiet around here! Where is Marie? Anyway, your pics of AG are great! I love the plaid skirt-too cute~ Here are some pics of M that I took in GWL. One is pretty blurry- hopefully she grows another inch so they are actually ankle length :)

Cute pics!

AG looks so adorable in the plaid skirt. Love the pigtails. It looks adorable with the sweater shirt. I think that we need that skirt! I am holding off as we have 4 Gymbucks to spend so I'm waiting! Those veggie jeans are also calling my name.

Katie! Your DD looks so cute in her stuff too. We got that jean skirt from Grandma with the green and white striped radish shirt with the veggie cardi. We haven't tried it on yet, but I love it with the tights. I might have to pick up a pair of those as it will be cold here with several more months.

Adorable pictures, Denise!! Amy Grace is so cute! My DD still has very little hair, so we can't do ponytails yet. She (DD) was sitting on my lap when I looked at your pictures, and she was fascinated by AG's kitchen. We have the Kidkraft one, and some of the Melissa and Doug food. DD had to run off and cook in her kitchen when she saw Amy Grace's!

ITA with you about pics - it has been very quiet around here. I really did not like the veggie line when I saw it in the store - but those jeans and cardigan are TOO CUTE. Honestly, they are adorable on both girls. I also like a few of the DW pieces. Have not bought any gymbo for a while, so I may need to take another look.

Love the picture of AG where she is pretending to eat the fish. DS has that food set too and plays with it often. OT - which wooden kitchen do you have Denise? It looks nice.

Ohhhh, is she a muffin or what?! SO CUTE!! My fave, hands-down, is the skirt. I love it on her--in fact debated getting it for Kathleen. I esp. love it with the blue s/s sweater. My next fave is the first picture. That outfit is adorable!! And I LOVE the sweater (but I am a sucker for cardie, both for myself and for the girls) :)

Welcome back everyone! And Happy New Year!! (I'm ready for it, it's been too quiet around here :))

Great pics! How on Earth do you get her to model so cooperatively?? I especially love the DW sweater top and dandelion print pants. Wasn't planning on buying anything from that line, but seeing your pics has made me reconsider!

Where did you get your play kitchen pieces? Are you happy with them? I'm just starting to shop around for DD's 2nd birthday. I know I want wood, but that's as far as I've gotten!

So adorable!!!! I have known that that skirt would be mine the moment I saw it!!! Come on, Gymbucks redemption time. :-) My DD isn't even standing up yet (or sitting up without help, for that matter!) and I still by skirts and dresses. Quite impractical. Yes, I need therapy.

She is so cute in everything! I like the jeans and the plaid skirt the best. I can't believe how long her hair is! I just trimmed Ava's yesterday to even out the scraggly bits and I can't wait until it's long enough to put in pigtails.

Thanks for posting the pics! It is good to hear from you. I hope you all had a nice Christmas. I am sure everyone will be back to full posting strength soon. Ava and I are still recovering from visiting the ILs in Montana, but we'll be back :)

Awww! So cute! Mackenzie looks adorable in that bright pink color. Spring starts around mid-March here so these pieces are all for then (which is why I got the short sleeves). It sounds like your spring is a bit colder than mine. :)

Thanks, everyone! I'm thinking I might need to buy one of the cardie's from DW with my gymbucks since our spring is pretty unpredictable.

A couple of you asked about the kitchen...it's from Pottery Barn Kids. I really love it. The quality is great and all three of my kids have enjoyed playing with it since Santa left it for us. :D I posted more info in the Around the House forum thread on kitchen reviews.

Robyn, we did have a good Christmas. I haven't taken down the decorations yet but I'm so ready for them to be *gone*! LOL! We were even late putting them up but I'm still sick of them. Hope your trip to Montana (!) was nice. That's a long way to travel!

Lisa, I used up the entire memory card getting the pics! LOL! She was playing kitchen and I was pretending to eat things and then snapping a picture. When she'd hand me something, I'd slide it back toward the kitchen and she'd go to get it and I'd take the pic on the way back! :D She's really not that cooperative.

Adorable as ever! I like all the outfits, but that skirt is my favorite, esp. with the dandelion bodysuit. I didn't look twice at the skirt online, but seeing it on AG is a whole different story.

I also really, really like the DW line. Since it won't be reliably warm here until May, I'm trying to hold off until its pretty deeply marked down. If our stores had the short-sleeved tops, holding off would be a lot harder, but they don't, and we have plenty of long-sleeved tops and pants for the rest of the year.

Thanks for livening the place up! We just got back home late yesterday. I bet posting will pick up soon!

OMG, AG is so CUTE!!!! I love all the outfits. My favorites are the Gymbo "I play with my food" and the sweater top with the plaid skirt. But of course she would look darling in whatever you put on her.

Denise, Amy Grace is adorable, as always! I think it's been quiet here with everyone busy for the holidays. I know that I haven't been here much.

AG looks adorable in the veggie outfit! It is so cute. And I love the DW line. Both outfits look great on AG. I wish they'd made those dandelion pants in Kid Girl, they are capris in Kid Girl. I still may get them for both girls, they are so cute! I also got the jeans for both girls and they are darling! No shirts yet, I'm waiting for Gymbucks redemption!

I have to agree with everyone else - the PBK kitchen is darling!

Katie, these outfits are so cute on Mackenzie! The bright pink looks great with her coloring. We are in northern Massachusetts (right on the NH border), so although our spring starts a bit earlier than yours, we have a long winter, too! We go to California every February to visit my in-laws so we get to wear some spring stuff there, but it's just a tease since we're then back in the cold for a couple of months!

I was just thinking how slow this board has been recently. I haven't been buying much clotheswise because I'm just not ready to buy for Spring yet. Spring is a long way off for us and we still have tons of winter items with tags on them.

I love the pictures and will probably be using my gymbucks for the dandelion line. I think she looks really cute in the skirt.

Thanks for sharing the photos, Denise! LOVE them! AG is so cute, I think SHE makes the clothes cute! LOL
Like someone else said, I'd be in trouble if I had a girl! I love everything you bought, especially the GWL stuff. I was very disappointed that there were no veggies for the boys.

And I love the PBK kitchen, the first moment I saw it, I wanted it. But alas, it was hard enough to convince DH that Jonah needed a kitchen, no way he would've went for the pink.:)

Thanks for perking things up, we'll all have to post a few photos....I'm sure lots of the kiddos got some clothes for Christmas!

(so keep ALL of those outfits, and get some more with your GB!;) )

OMG, I'm laughing so hard I am crying! First, Amy Grace looks adorable! But, I then click on the link to your website and then to the "Funny Questions" section and am laughing so hard at how hilarious Wesley is! Tears are literally streaming down my cheeks! He must keep a smile on your face :)

Denise,

Oh my goodness-- Amy Grace is just adorable!! I know that you are just loving dressing up your precious little girl!

I *love* the skirt on her!! I agree with you that skirts, in general, don't look great on babies, but I do think that there are exceptions and this is one of them!!! Last year I felt the same way about a pleated skirt from Tip Toe. I bought it for Ella Paige and I just LOVED it on her. Here is an OLD picture (from May 2004) of her in it. I just loved that outfit.

See, some skirts do work :-) !

I love those PBK kitchen pieces. A couple days after Christmas, we bought the girls the PBK "store". We just love it and I'm seriously thinking that we'll go back and buy the kitchen pieces too. And I think we'll *have* to get the pie safe. It is just tooooo cute!

I'm so hoping that everyone starts posting on this forum again soon. I've popped in a few times, but it has been sooo slow and it doesn't feel like the same place :-( .

Katie,

Thanks so much for missing me!! I had a really awful Christmas, so you made me feel a little better .

As I mentioned to Denise below, I've popped in here and there, but it has been so slow here and it just hasn't felt like the same place. I hope that changes!!

Well, Miss Mackenzie looks absolutely precious in her new GWL. What a cutie! That pink looks really great on her!! The jeans are long on EP too, so I think she'll be able to wear them for a long time. Of course I'll get sick of them before she outgrows them!

So, how many Gymbucks do you have ;-) ?

Yeah Marie! You're back!! :) I sure hope everything is ok. Sorry to hear about your Christmas and I hope things get better. I kept thinking I hadn't seen you in a while. Post some pics of your girls so we can get the place moving again! Thanks for the compliments on M. I love the pic or EP in her TT- we had the same shirt but had to return the skirt. DD's legs were just too short :) So, I *only* have 3 gymbucks but that is the most I've ever had (I know, I'm such a lightweight!) How many do *you* have? Well, take care and hope to see you around more!

I miss the activity here too :) I wanted to post some Christmas pictures but missed that thread. We spent the holidays in San Diego with my family, so I'll post some pics in a differnt post.

Amy Grace and all the baby girls look so cute in their gymbo. I really miss the baby girl clothes. That most recent line is so pretty, and the skirt looks great.

Thanks, Katie :-) !

OK, you've twisted my arm (LOL!), I'll post a couple of pics later. There are a few that I want to share anyway. Hopefully it will encourage others to post. This board has really gotten slow over the past month or two :( .

I just counted my Gymbucks and I have 10. That seems like a good amount for my two girls. Unfortunately, I'll probably end up spending a disproportionate amount on Ella Paige because the Kid Girl stuff is never as cute as the Baby Girl stuff (sigh.....). I think I'll be hitting the Gap for Anneliese.

Of course if I don't like the new Wildflowers line, I may end up with too many Gymbucks because I won't buy anything unless I love it-- even with the Gymbucks discount. But considering that I earned about 7 of my Gymbucks from the COF sale that started before the Gymbucks earning period began (my SM just gave me the Gymbucks so I didn't have to return and rebuy), I feel like many of my Gymbucks were "free" anyway.

That skirt is adorable on Ella Paige! I love it!

It has been really slow. We just haven't bought anything lately so I have nothing to post. We are moving next month, so I am focused on getting rid of as much stuff as possible, not buying anything new :)

Denise, my goodness, that baby girl of yours is SO cute. I LOVE that pale blue sweater with the skirt. And considering I was one who didn't like much of GWL at all, I really love the cropped jeans and cardi set on AG. I really like the shape of that cardi. AG looks like she is loving that kitchen.

I agree that it's been so quiet around here. I've been lurking, but not posting because we've been so busy. My mom was over here visiting (got to see her granddaughter for the very first time) and we all went to Austria on a ski vacation for a week. I've been tracking the new lines, but haven't been buying. One of my (ha ha) New Year's Resolutions is to work on my spending on clothes. I think the chatter will pick up around here soon now that the holidays are over and when the new Spring lines start releasing. In fact, I just noticed that Gymbo's new Valentine's line is online now. I also love just about everything in the Dandelion line, but again, I have got to be more practical about what I buy Andie (and the boys). We are still in the thick of Winter weather here in Germany (although it's a suprisingly warm 43 degrees right now) and I look at these Spring clothes and just know that we won't get use out of them for months. And I KNOW that Hanna, J&J, Gap and Gymbo, among other brands will be coming out with more and more Spring clothes that I am just going to "have" to have. I want this outfit SO badly:

Right now, all of that in my cart online is $162.50 (at full price) and there's no way I can justify that, but I'm going to let all of it sit there and see how much of it I can get when it's on sale.

Thanks for sharing new AG pics!! I love seeing her model her new clothes. Oh, and those pics of McKenzie are adorable too!!! I'm really ready to see the kids in new Spring clothes (and Winter ones too).

Ella Paige looks so cute in that Tip Toe outfit! No wonder it was a favorite of yours. :)

Yeah, I've decided the skirt is a keeper. Dh saw it and thought it was very cute and he rarely has an opinion at all. LOL!

I'm jealous that you have the PBK store, too! I love the store (and so do the boys) but we just don't have room for it in addition to everything else. I really love the pie safe and wanted it but decided that since it came down to the fridge *or* the pie safe, the fridge was more "realistic" for a kitchen. Of course, our fridge has pasta, cereal, salt, forks/spoons/knives, dishes, etc. it in! LOL!

Thanks for the compliment about EP! Didn't mean to hijack your post-- I just wanted to show you that some skirts DO work on babies!

LOL about DH. Mine is the same way. That's why I take his opinions seriously-- he offers them so rarely!

I definitely agree that the fridge and the stove make more "sense" than the pie safe. Luckily, we have space for all three although we definitely don't *need* all three!! The girls each have a decent sized room and we have a downstairs playroom off of our family room. Now, get this-- I've decided to convert our 4th bedroom (it's upstairs) into another playroom for them. How completely excessive is that? It seems a little over the top, but the guest room rarely gets used, so this seems like a more practical use for it. Since we *think* we're done having kids, we might as well let the room be used. Crazy?
