Kael's out-growing his shoes like you wouldn't believe. We just purchased him a pair of Stride Rites November 28 and looks like they are already getting tight!! His poor feet are imprinted with little sock dents when we take his shoes off.

Anyway, I found a pair I liked at Land's End but according to their sizing chart, he would fit a size 7 (his feet measures 5.25"). Stride Rite says size 6.5 (he's currently wearing 6). Ecco is in European measurements so what US size do I use when converting?

Half a size doesn't sound like much, but that's half an inch - he'd be sloshing around in there if it's too big but I don't want him to outgrow them so fast.

So what do you ladies think - is it really bad for him to wear shoes slightly too big? At the rate he's going, I'm afraid he's going to get clown feet when he reaches adulthood.
