I'm getting paranoid that I ordered the wrong size, and I'd like to see the coat on some babies/toddlers other than the one in the Hanna catalog. From the catalog picture, it's hard to tell how the coat fits (or it is to me, at least). If you could also include your child's age, height and weight, and what size fleece you have, that would be great. I don't ask for much, do I? :-) My DD is almost 23 months, 22 lb. and 30". I got the coat in 80, hoping she can wear it this year and next. Primarily, though, I'm buying it for next year rather than this year. Everyone I've talked to at Hanna says it runs big. Is that so? I tend to size up, but I was afraid a 90 would swallow her. Thanks so much! Of all the crazy things I could worry about . . .

No way will a 90 work for your DD - I would say probably a 70, MAYBE an 80 if you want it to last a couple of years. My son wears a 90 and it's "baggy" on him for lack of a better term and we roll the sleeves up twice. He's 28lbs and 36-37in.

I would get an 80, it'll be pretty roomy on her now but she'll also be able to wear it all the rest of this winter, spring and in the fall and winter next year too!

Colin is about the same size as your DS and is outgrowing his zoo pals coat in a 90! I think that the OP would get more use out of a 90.

I think you made the right choice with the 80. My DS almost the same size as your DD -- 22 lbs and about 31" -- and the 80 jacket is big on him but still wearable. I roll up the sleeves twice and it's baggy and long over all. And very, very cute! Sorry I don't have a picture to share with you.

I was at a HA store a few weeks back, and had DS try on a 70 just for fun. It fit perfectly -- looked just like it did on the catalog model. But since my DS is not a catalog model, the 80 was a better choice for us and our budget! :-) I expect he'll be able to wear it next year, too.

Hi Lucy,

I just replied in your other post, but I'll repeat it here. Jeremiah is 23 mo's as well and in 90's in most things Hanna. He's currently ~34-35" and ~30lbs. However in the Love a Bug fleece jacket the 90 was HUGE---ridiculously huge. He wears the 80 with still room to grow in the sleeves. I think he could easily grow 2 more inches and it would still fit. It actually fits about the same as his size 90 Hippity Hop jacket, so I think the 80 will definitely work for you for both this year and next.

This is a size 80. My dd is 34" and 26 lbs. and the jacket fits nicely. We bought the 90 at first but it was huge. I think I'll get a 90 for next year, though (maybe in red).

Here's a 90. DS was 32 months when this was taken and about 30lbs, 36-37 inches.

Actually, here's a picture of DD in an 80. I ended up sending it back and forgot that I have this. She was about 10 months old here, and if I remember correctly 29 inches and about 20lbs. Please ignore the mess in the background!

The Zoo Pals and the LAB are cut differently, I think. Nate was out of the Zoo Pals in an 80 so I bought the LAB fleece in a 90. Whereas the Zoo Pals 80 was too short on him, the LAB 90 is long and still needs the sleeves rolled multiple times. He wears a 90 in all other Hanna tops and they fit him fine, without this problem. The SA at the Oakbrook store told me that the LAB fleece is running big when I was there last weekend.

Here's Quinn about a month after his 2nd birthday. He was about 32 lbs and I'm embarressed to sat that I have no idea how tall he was at that time (let alone now). His fleece is a size 90.

Here are a few shots of DS at 15 mos., taken last month. He's wearing a size 80 jacket. He was about 22 lbs. and 32 in. at the time. :)

Sorry don't have any pictures- but DS is 21 months, about 34" and 25lbs. He wears the LAB fleece in 80 with the sleeves rolled up. I'm not sure if it will fit next year- the sleeves are plenty long and the jacket is wide- but it might be too short. I guess it depends on how much he grows. But for this year it's definately the right size for him. I think you made the right choice with the 80.

Thanks to everyone who posted pictures! Your kids are so cute, and I'm excited to get our fleece this week! I think the size is going to be fine for my DD, even if she only gets to wear the jacket for half of next winter. Based on what you've said, though, I think it will fit her for at least the next year. It really helped me to see the fleece on different kids. Thanks again!

Thanks for posting this pic! My DD has the same coloring of yours and I ordered the coat in this color. I was worried about how it would look. No worries anymore, your DD looks absolutely adorable!
