Great scores Rashmi!!! Leela will, of course, look adorable in everything!

I shopped today and also bought the Apple A Day Jumper (my first girl Hanna purchase!!! :) ). I have visions of Lane still being able to wear the AAD Tee and getting pictures this fall.

Cool beans Rashmi! I love getting Hanna deals and it looks like you got some nice ones. I scored some for myself today as well. (Says the husband: STOP buying for the new baby!)

Mary and Caroline! It is so cute to see the two of you buying girl clothes! How exciting!! Can't wait to see pics of the babies in them!

Rashmi,

How on earth do you rein yourself in?!? There is so much cute stuff. I went to H&M today after Hanna and I had to almost physically restrain myself from buying all the cute dresses and pants they had for baby girls!

ROSTER and BUDGET! :)

It is VERY hard. And the girls in Layette don't make it any easier!! They keep showing cute stuff and outfit. Bottom line, I NEVER PAY FULL PRICE FOR ANYTHING! Unless it is 50% or more off, I just don't get it. This is what my master, Helene, has taught me. Unless i LOVE it (which is rare), I will wait. I don't care if my babe is a year behind in fashions. heehee.

I have seen an H&M just once.. didn't buy anything though... not sure how well they wash and wear?

Ah... I do the sale thing, but hadn't thought about the 50% off or more aspect to it. Maybe I should adopt it? I think that's why I stopped myself in H&M. The stuff was cute and not terribly expensive, but also: not on sale!

H&M stuff does wash and wear well though -- at least the boys' stuff I had for Nate did. Unfortunately, like everywhere else, H&M has 30 racks of cute stuff for girls and 2 racks of just-OK stuff for boys.

What is H&M? And, Rashmi, did you call the Oakbrook store for your great deals?

Can you post the code you used to get the discounts? I would love to get the Chicka jumper for $18.20!
TIA!

I called the Colorado store! Phoebe, I believe the additional 30% off is for size 50,60 and 70 stuff only though.. i am not a 100% sure, but I think that is what she said.

No code. The Hanna stores (i called Colorado) are running an additional 30% off on some stuff.

Rashmi:

Was it a regular store or an outlet that you got the deals on? I am totally looking for a size 70 playdress for Katherine. You got such good deals on the jumpers too that I could be "persuaded" to buy them as well... DH threw away my hanna catalog - so I have style numbers for nothing! Do you think I need them if I call a store?

Lori,
I'm not Rashmi, but I was at the Oak Brook store yesterday and they had playdresses in lots of sizes. Definitely worth a call (and I wouldn't worry about not having style numbers).

Did you happen to notice if they have any of the Love A Bug line there (fleece jacket, pocket pants)? If so, it would definitely be worth it for me to call a store rather than order online.

Thanks!

Yes they did. Quite a bit, but I don't know about specific colors or sizes. Definitely call! If they hassle you at all, let me know I could probably take a run out there for you.

I will definitely give them a call tomorrow. I hope they don't give me a hassle....stores don't always ship orders?

Thank you!

Lori, the stores do have the LAB stuff but the jacket for sure is NOT an addt'l 30% off.

mharling

They are generally good about it, but every once in a while I hear of people having problems. Also, I think they told someone the LAB fleece wasn't 30% off except for store customers. Let me know how it goes!

Mary,

Did you go to Oakbrook or Woodfield? I went to Woodfield on Monday, and they offered to PA on my previous purchases, but they did not PA everything. I only got PA's on Lindsey's crossover top, kicky skirt, and jewel box striped tights. They told me everything else was still the same sale price, not the extra 30% off. I had purchased a playdress, tons of socks, the striped LS boxy tee, and another floral dress.

I'm just wondering if they are doing store specific markdowns and if I should trek up to Oakbrook to get everything else PA'ed.

Thanks!
Emily

Emily -
I went to Oak Brook. I only had 2 zippers, a pair of long johns and a shirt and they PA'ed everything. I know that Tara went to Oak Brook and her friend got a playdress with the 30% off, so it may be worth a shot. I wish the Hanna people could at least tell us all the same thing!!!!

I will definately have to make the trip out there then. I bought a playdress and a pair of long john's.

Or, maybe I'll just call customer service instead. What the heck, we might get a code out of it at least...;)

I was at the Oakbrook store on Saturday and then again today (62 degrees - can you even believe it?) and the prices were different both days.

On Saturday *everything* in the store except the playdresses, the LAB pants and some outerwear was an additional 30%. They said they gave me 30% off the playdress as a perk just because I was buying so much. I bought a bunch of long johns (only one was holiday) because they were under $20 w/ the discount and that is something I know we will need so I don't mind buying ahead. Incidentally they had stripes from last year out - don't know where they got those.

Today, I was there and picked up another pair of striped lj's and they were not additionally discounted! However the dreaming in swedish dress I bought both days (the other one was defective but I didn't bring it to return today) was $6 cheaper today.

Who knows what they are doing. I think it totally depends on which SA you get. If they are confused and there is no one nearby to ask, I think they just wing-it and hope you don't complain.

I would be surprised if Customer Service would give you a PA since these are in-store sales, but I guess it might be worth a try.
